It will be wonderful for Pakistan to have its significant trade benefits with an America-led West and American allies, which include rich nations like Japan and South Korea, while also maintaining the vital ties with China.

My Pakistani brethren on PDF were long pointing out the unsustainability of IND trying to be part of two camps- US/QUAD and BRICS/SCO and forecasted that they would come to grief. Much to my chagrin, they have been proved correct.

What makes you think that PAK could pull it off?

Regards

My Gosh, very keen on equal-equal despite crying to the contrary.

Pak is not claiming it will be part of an anti-China alliance and Pak never claimed to China it will be part of an anti-US alliance. Does that clear things up for you?

China can trade with US.

So do you have a point or is this just sour grapes as usual?

I would still like to know ‘why’.

The US under Trump is all about transactional relationships (barring their support for the degenerate genocidal entity called Israel). Trump hasn’t even spared his closest Western allies, so why so much support for Pakistan over India?

It’s obviously not the economy or trade, both areas where India has far more to offer the US.

The Indian diaspora in the US is wealthy, well connected and involved in US politics, significantly more so than the Pakistani diaspora.

Pakistan continues to struggle with civilian authority and military interventions in domestic politics while India, despite losing some of its sheen under Modi, is still seen as more democratic and ‘secular’ than Pakistan.

Pakistan’s relationship with China remains strong and deep, and Trump and American analysts continue to see China as their major threat, so here too, despite Indian waffling over joining the Western camp, one would expect the US to continue backing India in the hope of weaning it off Russia.

And last, Pakistan is majority Muslim, and we know where the Republican base (and many of its elected leaders) stand when it comes to Islamophobia.

That is the problem of Pakistan "actually" being led by military leadership and not a proper civilian leadership that is empowered to make the best decisions for Pakistan as a whole. Everything is viewed through security/military if the person you are dealing with, has a uniform. Most western countries are not comfortable debating economics, or other types of civilian co-operation with miliary leaders, but prefer civilian ones. Of course, the military establishment does not understand ( or care ) just as long as they are the leaders making "decisions". This approach costs Pakistan alot, as Pakistan has not been able to develop good quality effective civilian leadership as that evolutionary process has not been allowed to mature.

My comments are not about personalities, i dont care about that, it is about the evolution and growth of capable civilian leadership in Pakistan that is dynamic and evolutionary.
Actually it's the total opposite when it comes to Pakistan. Review the history.

Pakistan’s Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir will visit the United States to attend the CENTCOM change in command later this week, his second trip to Washington in less than two months.

During his last visit in June, Munir met Trump over lunch at the White House, weeks after India dismantled terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan Azaad Kashmir. This was the first time in history that a US president has welcomed the military leader without senior Pakistani civilian officials present.

Trump had praised General Munir for his role in preventing an escalation of conflict between India and Pakistan, saying, “The reason I had him here was I wanted to thank him for not going into the war and ending it…"

Munir has said Trump should be nominated for the Nobel Prize for "averting nuclear war" between India and Pakistan.

Trump has been claiming credit for the ceasefire between India and Pakistan on May 10, ending the conflict after four days of intense cross-border drone and missile strikes. However, India has said that no foreign leader was involved in the ceasefire, and New Delhi and Islamabad reached an understanding following DGMO-level talks.
LOL, Trump for Nobel Prize?

Trump should be given a prize for being an idiot.

He should open his own master tiles case. lol

Most corrupt people have bought property out of the Country and will run away
just like Mota Nawaja kept running away.

Even the bureaucrats are buying property in Portugal, its a escape route when the
sh!t hits the fan.

Khawaja Asif does his randi-rona as it happens under his nose. This was taken during a gathering at the PM's house in February 2025. None of these uncles sitting there holding flags would be actual contributors to Spanish society except for purchasing real estate, as you said, to make an escape route out of the country.

I see more Spanish flags than usual.

Si estuvieran en España, recibirían un castigo por su corrupción tan severo que hasta sus siete generaciones huirían de reconocerlos como padre, abuelo o familiar. ¡Gilipollas, todos!
