It has gone silent for now more than three years after we published the "Red Dragon 'Flankers' | China's Prolific 'Flanker' Family" in 2022, and all other true book projects like the already finished book on the PLAAF bomber never were published due to several reasons!

But soon ... ;)

An interesting or at least nice image of a J-20A with a beautiful sunset behind and an intriguing, but rather cryptic, commentary on it:"Today, a beautiful sunset moment in Chengdu, finally fulfilling a dream." (= 今日成都夕阳唯美瞬间，终于圆梦)

So maybe I'm reading too much into it and it is just a nice image for the evening!?

Can anyone confirm: Just saw this at the SDF: "In the latest episode, Yankee said the J-20 joined today's joint aerial drill with Russia near South Korea (22:20)"


Also ... You all know my lack of Chinese language skills but with the help of translators and my gut-feeling I often still get a few hints, here however I‘m not sure … based on what I understand it sounds a bit of a certain unit gaining a new type, initial issues in transitions, took time but now all is fine … the J-10C is likely just an irrelevant placeholder!

But as I noted, my gut-feeling hints toward a first operational J-20A unit and as such the Wang Hai brigade? Or am I totally wrong?
