It helps with sun glare. It does not block radar.

J-20 has a wider and roomier cockpit than F-22. It's more comfortable for the pilot.

fighter jets are not lazy and roomier as you their cockpits are most of use of instruments in a little space as possible it about safety first rather then a comfortable or roomier, and J-20 is lager than F-22 so why you surprise that J-20 have roomier cockpit and F-22 have arm rest but J-20 don't have on long haul flight human arm would feel fatigue

Dude, “aircraft canopy” is not the point of the comparison.
The J-20 had various types of “aircraft canopy” in its early stages. It included various coatings, and both versions with and without reinforcement in the center.

The real focus of the comparison is the radar of the two fighters.

It is clear to see that the radar size of the J-20 is much larger than that of the F-22.

First, how is that 'clear'? From radome size? If so, that is a bad indicator.

Second, even if the radome is larger, that does not mean the volume of the area is large enough to accommodate a larger radar. That is not how designing a radar in an airplane works.

Finally, even if the J-20 radar is actually larger in terms of array dimensions, that does not mean the entire radar system is better than the F-22's.

J-20 has bigger Radar aperture than F-20 and F-35 that was well known.

But we are uncertain with the capability of radder, we may never know.

I knew. But it's old technology, probably Indium tin oxide. It seems Chinese use new technology that can make it more transparent.
