Nur Khan sb was one of those rare airmen where vision and flying skill lived in the same body.

A fighter pilot at heart, a leader by instinct. If it had wings and wore Pakistan Air Force roundels, chances are he flew it. He did not just command the PAF, he understood it from the cockpit up.

This photograph of him flying the F 6 MiG 19 says it all, a chief who never forgot he was first and always a fighter pilot
