Chinese MIIT revealed the specs of the Avatr 07 crossover from Changan, CATL, and Huawei in China. It is a mid-size new energy vehicle available in BEV and EREV variants. The Avatr 07 has up to 590 hp and LFP batteries from CATL. Its EREV version has up to 188 km of electric range. The Avatr 07 was previously known by the code name Avatr 15.

Avatr is a joint project between Changan, CATL, and Huawei. Changan owns 40% of this JV, and CATL holds over 17%. Huawei doesn’t have shares in the project. Instead, it acts as the key parts supplier. Moreover, Huawei is one of the creators of the CHN architecture. However, Avatr 07 revealed that Huawei became less relevant in this project.

Avatr 07 specs

All-electric variant of the Avatr 07
The Avatr 07 was previously revealed in official images. As mentioned, it is a mid-size crossover that aims to compete with the Tesla Model Y. Its styling was created by Nader Faghihzadeh, the designer responsible for the exterior of the new BMW 7 Series. The Avatr 07 follows the design language of the Avatr 12. Its front end adopts two-tier LED running lights with headlights integrated into the front bumper. It also has optional cameras instead of side-view mirrors and two thin taillight units.

Avatr 07 EREV
Dimensions of the Avatr 07 are 4825/1980/1620 mm with a wheelbase of 2940 mm. It is 75 mm longer, 59 mm wider, and 4 mm lower than the Tesla Model Y. Its front and rear tracks are 1680 and 1690 mm, respectively. The Avatr 07’s approach and departure angles are 17 and 21 degrees. As for the overhangs, they are 902 and 983 mm. It can be equipped with 255/50 R20 or 265/45 R21 wheels. Inside, the Avatr 07 has 5 seats. Depending on the powertrain, its curb weight lies in 2240 – 2434 kg.

Avatr 07 powertrain options

The entry-level version of the all-electric variant Avatr 07 adopts a single XTDM39 e-motor in the rear axle. In contrast with other Avatr-branded cars, this electric motor isn’t manufactured by Huawei. Its manufacturer is Deepal Technology, a company under Changan. The RWD Avatr 07’s peak power reaches 252 kW (338 hp). An LFP battery manufactured by CATL powers it. Its top speed reaches 200 km/h.
The 4WD variant of the electric Avatr 07 also refused to adopt electric motors from Huawei. It has the XTDM39 electric motor from Deepal in the rear axle and the XYDM05 e-motor from Chongqing Tsingshan Industrial in the front. Its peak power is 188 kW and 252 kW, respectively. The total power of the Avatr 07 reaches 440 kW (590 hp). These e-motors are also powered by an LFP pack from CATL. Its top speed is 200 km/h.

Speaking about Avatr 07 EREV, its RWD variant adopts the ATDM01 electric motor in the rear axle for 231 kW (310 hp). It is powered by a 39-kWh LFP battery from CATL, suitable for 188 km of electric range. Under the hood, this version has a 1.5-liter JL469ZQ1 ICE from Changan with a peak power of 115 kW (154 hp). According to sources, the Zeekr 007 station wagon (codename: CC1E) is currently in pre-production. Zeekr has begun making the mold for the new model. Since Zeekr will soon launch the Zeekr Mix MPV and Zeekr Ark (CX1E) crossover, it may be some time before we see the Zeekr 007 station wagon.

Fan art from Sugar Design
As little as we know about the new station wagon, let’s use the current offerings of the Zeekr 007 as a reference.

  • Enhanced RWD: 209,900 yuan (29,000 USD)
  • Smart RWD: 229,900 yuan (31,800 USD)
  • AWD: 229,900 yuan (31,800 USD)
  • Smart AWD: 259,900 yuan (35,950 USD)
  • Performance AWD: 299,900 yuan (41,500 USD)

Fan art from Sugar Design
The current line-up has 14-way power front seats with ventilation and massage, heated rear power seats, a 15-inch OLED center screen, a 35.5-inch AR-HUD system, a 21-speaker premium audio system, and an AI fragrance system, all powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 CPU. It includes LCC+ and NZP autonomous driving assistance and various park assistance systems.

Interior of Zeekr 007 sedan

The car has 310 kW peak power, an 870 km electric range, and fast charging capability. Stefan Sielaff, known for Audi and Bentley designs, oversaw the design, focusing on luxury with a minimalist approach. It utilizes Zeekr’s 75 kWh lithium iron phosphate Golden battery, which can be upgraded to a 100 kWh NMC battery for extended range.

Interior of Zeekr 007 sedan
Zeekr, a premium electric vehicle brand owned by Geely Group, debuted in 2021 with the 001 hatchback. The Zeekr 001 was initially planned as the Lynk & Co Zero in 2021. Many might have wondered why Geely diverged from Lynk & Co, a company known for winning multiple WTCR titles with the Lynk & Co 03 TCR. It is clear now that Geely planned for Zeekr to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange in the US, raising 441 million on the IPO. This injection of funds will enable Zeekr to expand into international markets and diversify its product lineup. Zeekr’s current models include 001, 007, 009, and X.

Editor’s comment
Car buyers in mainland China generally prefer SUVs, making station wagons a dime a dozen in the domestic market. If a Zeekr 007 station wagon is indeed in development, it can only mean one thing: it aims to penetrate the overseas market, especially in Europe. European buyers appreciate the blend of sedan-like driving characteristics and additional space. Having test-driven the Zeekr 007 sedan earlier, I look forward to its addition as a station wagon with more versatility.

The Chinese MIIT revealed specs and photos of the new Haval Raptor crossover from Great Wall Motor (GWM). It got refined exterior styling to underline its difference from the upcoming Haval H9 flagship SUV. Another update of the Haval Raptor is the ICE powertrain. Previously, the Raptor was available only as a PHEV.

Haval Raptor PHEV
Haval Raptor first entered the Chinese market in October 2023. It is a plug-in hybrid SUV based on the Lemon modular architecture from Great Wall Motor. After the launch, Raptor sold around 6,000 units for three months in a row. But then the sales volume decreased to approximately 2,000 cars per month. It seems that GWM is eager to increase Raptor’s sales volume by launching the variant with an updated exterior styling and the ICE powertrain.

More on new Haval Raptor

The new Haval Raptor adopts the new design language. Its circular headlights were replaced with smaller rectangular ones. It also adopts a blackened grille with chromed vertical bars. The new variant of the Haval Raptor has more plastic trim in the lower part of its body. It also has wide wheel arches and huge bumpers. From the back, the Haval Raptor has a swing-out rear door with a spare wheel mounted on it.

The exterior styling of the Haval Raptor was likely changed to differ from the recently released Haval H9 flagship off-roader. These two models appeared to be quite similar in terms of exterior styling. Now, the adjusted variant of the Raptor looks more distinctive.

The dimensions of the Haval Raptor are 4680/1950/1822 mm, and its wheelbase is 2738 mm. Its body length with a spare wheel included is 4800 mm. Its approach and departure angles are 25 and 32 degrees, respectively. Front and rear overhangs reach 906 and 1036 mm. The front and rear tracks are 1641 and 1640 mm. It can have three wheel options: 245/55 R19, 255/60 R19, and 265/60 R18.
Inside, the Haval Raptor has five seats (2+3). Its curb weight is 1830 kg, and its gross weight is 2255 kg.

New Haval Raptor powertrain

The current variant of the Haval Raptor is available in China as a plug-in hybrid. Its powertrain adopts the 1.5-liter turbocharged ICE for 123 kW (165 hp) paired with two e-motors with a combined power of 220 kW (295 hp). However, the Chinese regulator revealed that Great Wall Motor is working on the ICE variant of the Raptor.
The petrol-powered version of the Haval Raptor adopts the 2-liter turbocharged GW4N20A engine with a peak power output of 175 kW (235 hp). There is no information about the Raptor’s gearbox. However, we do know it is an all-wheel-drive crossover. Its top speed reaches 200 km/h. The ICE variant of the Haval Raptor will enter the market this year.

Once upon a time in the not so distant past various Haima and FAW cars were based on Mazda platforms. Fast forward to 2024 and the new Mazda EZ-6 not only rides on the Changan EPA electric hybrid platform but is also largely a Mazda-fied version of the Deepal SL03. Thanks to the kind people at a government ministry we now know a whole lot more about the new car which should go on sale within the next few months in both all electric and range extended EV forms.

Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) listing information covered three versions of the EZ-6, two of them all electric and the other the EREV version. All versions measure in with the same 4921, 1890 and 1485 mm (l/w/h) while riding on a wheelbase of 2895 mm. Notably although the width is exactly the same as the current SL03 both the length and height are larger (4820 and 1480 for the SL03) while the Mazda wheelbase is actually 5 mm less than the Deepal. Notably the length is similar to the new Deepal L07 (4875 mm) which was also listed at the same time and is apparently a new model rather than a lengthened replacement of the SL03, despite looking very similar.
Mazda EZ-6 all electric version plus options
All three listed variants of the Mazda EZ-6 have a top speed of 170 km/h. Weights for the two all-electric versions are 1855 and 1962 kg respectively while the EREV come in at either 1820 or 1862 kg depending on configuration. Currently the car is only available with 19-inch wheels.

There is a slight difference in look at the front between the EV and EREV versions with the EV having a closed grille whereas the EREV has a hollow design. Overall the design is in keeping with the look of current Mazda models. At the back is a through light design which links larger clusters at the edges
EREV version of the Mazda EZ-6 including options
Interestingly the EREV uses the same JL473QJ engine from Changan as the Deepal SL03 rather than swapping out the range-extender for a Mazda engine. This has peak power of 70 kW but the car is actually driven by a 160 kW electric motor mounted on the rear axle. This is the less powerful motor as used by older EREV versions of the SL03 rather than the 175 kW motor on 2024 versions. All-electric versions get a MSED04 electric motor on the rear axle which according to MIIT is produced by the Changan Mazda Engine Company Limited and has a peak power of 190 kW. Battery capacities have yet to be announced but we know that all will use lithium iron phosphate units with those for the EV version being supplied by CATL.
While the MIIT information shows us that the Mazda EZ-6 has more individual character in terms of size it seems to differ less than we expected in terms of powertrain. We also know from last month’s Beijing Auto Show that the basic configuration of the interior won’t be majorly different with a 14.6-inch floating center screen, an LCD instrument panel along with flat bottomed steering wheel. The Mazda EZ-6 also has a Sony sound system, and a zero-gravity seat for the front passenger. Powering the cockpit is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip with most functions controlled either through the screen or voice commands.

Last month we got to learn more about the EV version of the Denza Z9 GT thanks to a government ministry. This month it’s the turn of the PHEV version. The Europe bound wagon will launch this month with sales and deliveries beginning soon after, Europe though will have to wait until next year to get their hands on this car.

This month the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) reported that BYD applied for market homologation of the PHEV version of the Denza Z9 GT, revealing the specifications and pictures of the production version. No car can be sold in China without MIIT approval, and the ministry publishes the list monthly. Quite why the PHEV version is appearing a month after the EV version though is a mystery but perhaps the PHEV version will launch slightly later than the fully electric Z9 GT.
Size wise the PHEV version is no different to the EV coming in at 5180, 1990, 1500 mm (l/w/h) and riding on a wheelbase of 3125 mm. Curb weight however is down a bit at 2740 kg. Buyers have a choice of 20 or 21-inch wheels.

Options for the PHEV Denza Z9 GT
Despite being a PHEV it still has a three electric motor setup as with the all-electric version but maximum power of each motor is down. On the PHEV the front gets a 200 kW peak power TZ210XYD motor whereas the rear axle has two TZ220XYAV motors, each with up to 220 kW. Battery size is currently unknown but will of course by blade units from BYD. Providing additional power is a BYD479ZQA 2.0T engine from BYD which has additional maximum power of 152 kW. Maximum speed of the PHEV surprisingly is 10 km/h slower than the EV at a mere 230 km/h.
The PHEV Denza Z9 GT will offer versions both with and without Lidar. It is not absolutely clear but it seems that some versions will have three lidar units. Options in the MIIT listing show a roof mounted Lidar unit along with two different bumper integrated configurations. Air suspension is also an option which reduces the height to 1480 mm. We know that the Denza Z9 GT also comes with a panoramic roof and an electric wing.
The Lidar unit locations on the PHEV Denza Z9 GT
Denza has come a long way from its slow selling days when it is was a 50:50 joint venture. Mercedes-Benz watered down its stake in 2021 and since then the brand has gone front strength to strength.

This is the Wey Mocha Hi4 plug-in hybrid SUV, priced at 238,800 yuan (33,000 USD). The new car is based on the 2023 Wey Mocha DHT-PHEV two-wheel drive model launched in June 2023, with no changes to the appearance, minor interior updates, and major powertrain upgrades. Wey is a brand under Great Wall Motor.

The Wey Mocha Hi4 has the same size as the 2023 model with dimensions of 4881/1960/1690 mm, and the wheelbase is 2915 mm, positioned as a medium-sized SUV. The new car runs on either 235/55 R20 or 265/45 R21 tires.
At the same time, there are various sensors placed throughout the vehicle, including a front-facing camera, five millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and four surround-view cameras to realize advanced driving assistance capabilities via the Coffee Pilot system. Examples of these standard capabilities are automatic emergency braking, forward/rear collision warning, lane keep assist, and blindspot monitoring.

The cockpit is equipped with the Coffee OS 2 vehicle operating system, a 9.2-inch full LCD instrument panel, a W-HUD, a 14.6-inch central control screen, and a 9-inch air-conditioning touch screen below the central control screen. The center console supports 50W wireless charging and two cup holders.
The seats are covered with Nappa leather material, and the front seats support heating and ventilation.
Power comes from Great Wall Motor’s Hi4 plug-in hybrid system composed of a 1.5T engine (125 kW/245 Nm) and P2+P4 dual electric motors (front: 80 kW/170 Nm + rear: 150 kW/350 Nm), mated to a 4-speed DHT. Seven driving modes are supported: standard, economy, sport, snow, four-wheel drive, mud, and sand. It takes 4.7 seconds to accelerate from 0 – 100 km/h. Compared with the Wey Mocha DHT-PHEV, the comprehensive power of the system has been increased and an electric four-wheel drive is supported.

Furthermore, its 35.04 kWh ternary lithium battery from CATL provides a CLTC pure electric range of 200 km. The comprehensive range has not been revealed at this time. Under fast charging, it takes 26 minutes to replenish the battery from 30% to 80%. Compared with the Wey Mocha DHT-PHEV, the battery capacity is increased by 1.04 kWh and the CLTC pure electric cruising range is reduced by 15 km.
The monthly sales of the Wey Mocha DHT-PHEV in China in the first four months of this year were 140, 102, 157, and 229 units; while only 4,745 units were sold in 2023. Can the Wey Mocha Hi4 revive the performance?

Stellantis will bring budget Chinese electric vehicles to Europe in September through its joint venture with Leapmotor. Other regions, such as India, SEA, Middle East, Africa, and South America, will follow in the fourth quarter.

Leapmotor International is a joint venture (JV) between Chinese EV-builder Leapmotor and Stellantis. The latter holds 51%, while Leapmotor holds 49%. The JV plans to have 200 dealerships in nine European countries by the end of the year and expand to 500 in 2026.
The first cars the Stellantis-led JV will offer in Europe will be the Leapmotor T03 all-electric city car and the Leapmotor C10 mid-size SUV. The company also announced it will launch at least one new Leapmotor model annually in Europe over the next three years.

Leapmotor T03
“We do not intend to leave the 20,000 EUR price band of the market to our Chinese competitors,” Tavares said on Tuesday. “You can expect the T03 would be priced below 20,000 euros in Europe”.
Leapmotor T03 will launch in September in nine EU countries: Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Greece, Romania, Spain, Portugal, and France.
The JV “enables us to accelerate the way to go to market with smart and affordable EVs,” Tavares said on Tuesday at an official launch with Leapmotor founder and CEO Zhu Jiangming.

Leapmotor International will expand into India & Asia Pacific, the Middle East & Africa, and South America in the last quarter of 2024. Stellantis specifically mentioned that China is excluded as the JV has the exclusivity to sell Leapmotor EVs only outside China.
In October 2023, the two companies announced a Stellantis investment of €1.5 billion to acquire approximately 21% equity in Leapmotor, becoming its largest shareholder. Later it was announced that two companies will forme a JV which will have exclusive rights to sell and manufacture Leapmotor EVs outside China.
Leapmotor T03 is a small 5-door hatchback that starts at 49,900 yuan (6,900 USD) in China. The top trim has a 403 km CLTC range thanks to its 41.3 kWh LFP battery from Hive Energy.
The dimensions are 3620/1652/1592 mm, and the wheelbase is 2,400 mm. The gross weight is 1,490 kg. The trunk capacity is 210 liters and 508 liters with folded rear seats.
The EV is powered by a single front electric motor with an output of 80 kW (107 hp) and a peak torque of 158 Nm. The acceleration from 0-50 km/h is 4.1 seconds and from 0-100km/h is yes.
Leapmotor C10 is a mid-size SUV that starts at 128,800 yuan (17,800 USD) in China. It has two fuel type variants: all-electric and EREV. Stellantis will most likely bring only the all-electric version of C10 to Europe.
The top trim has a 530 km CLTC range and is equipped with a 69.9kWh battery from CALB.
The 5-door 5-seater SUV has dimensions 4739/1900/1680 mm and a wheelbase of 2,825 mm. The trunk capacity is 370 liters and 835 liters with folded rear seats.
Its 170 kW (228 hp) of power comes from a single rear motor; peak torque is 320 Nm. The top speed is 170 km/h, and 0-100 km/h acceleration is 7.3 seconds. The EV is equipped with lidar on the top of the windshield.

Just days ago BYD launched the new Sea Lion O7, an all-electric SUV that makes up part of the Ocean series. Maybe more important than the car itself is the new e-platform 3.0 Evo that it rides on. The e-platform 3.0 first launched in 2021 and underpins most of BYD’s latest all-electric models. Evo most likely stands for ‘evolution’ and is a comprehensive update of the existing platform to squeeze more performance from it before the launch of the new e-platform 4.0.

BYD are claiming firsts in the world across five major technology clusters with the e-platform 3.0 Evo which for the buyer largely translate into efficiency, safety and charging convenience gains or as BYD puts it in its one picture to understand the platform as “safer, more efficient, smarter.”
One of the biggest innovations is the world’s first 12-in-1 electric drive system. It should be noted that the e-platform 3.0 introduced an 8-in-1 system and the Evo now ups this. Included among the 12 are items such as the electric motor, silicon carbide electronic controls, high-efficiency reducers, DC converter, battery manager, and intelligent boost modules. Claiming a world first by itself according to BYD is the motor which is the world highest speed mass-produced electric drive motor for a car reaching 23,000 rpm. This helps the Sea Lion 07 reach a maximum speed of 225 km/h. Another claimed first is the laminated laser welded silicon carbide power module.

The second major technology cluster is to do with intelligent fast charging – claimed as another world first. BYD has managed to increase the vehicle charging current to 400A when charging from a 250A public charger. Key benefit is that this shortens the 10% to 80% charging time to 25 minutes using such a charger. Similarly the time from 80% to 100% reduces to 18 minutes which BYD claims is an industry leading time. Crucial to these advances is intelligent terminal fast charging technology. Another huge advantage is the improvement in low-temperature charging capability. Using intelligent pulse self-heating technology it can see reductions in time of up to 40%. Furthermore the boost fast charging technology is fully compatible with existing public DC chargers. Smart fast dual gun technology means you can plug the car into two chargers simultaneously thereby giving up to 500 kW maximum charging power and allowing a 10-80% charge in as little as 12 minutes.
Slide from the launch showing the 10-80% time of 25 minutes and 80-100% time of 18 minutes for charging
Next up is the heat pump technology cluster. A heat pump by itself is nothing new having been used by various EVs for some years now as a way of reducing energy consumption for interior climate control. BYD however are claiming the e-platform 3.0 Evo has the world’s first intelligent wide temperature range high-efficiency heat pump. It uses a 16-in-1 high-efficiency thermal management integrated module which leads to a claimed 20% reduction in thermal management power consumption. There is also intelligent dual circulation direct cooling and heating technology for the battery. Such battery thermal management is claimed to reduce energy consumption by 25%. Thanks to the high efficiency composite temperature control system low temperature waste heat utilization efficiency is said to be up by 30% along with a continuous power output increase of over 40 kW. In real life driving conditions these changes translate into a 60 km increase in range (CLTC) in high temperatures and 45 km in cold conditions.
For the fourth technology cluster BYD claims to have the world’s first CTB vehicle safety architecture. CTB stands for cell to body, which seems broadly the same as what some other producers call cell to chassis (CTC). Essentially it integrates the battery pack as an integral part of the car rather than something hanging off it so giving the pack a load bearing element. The safety buffer space at the front is increased by 100 mm leading to a 60% increase in frontal collision safety. Also increased by 60% is the regional body strength thanks to the endoskeleton CTB safety architecture. BYD is claiming a global leading less than 5 mm pedal intrusion into the cabin under C-NCAP testing.

The fifth and final cluster is to do with the world’s first intelligent motion control technology. This revolves around new motion control architecture for power-chassis fusion which supports dynamic state recognition, motor self-inductance recognition and image recognition. The iTAC (intelligent torque control system) claims to keep one step ahead. This results in a slip recognition time of 50 ms, a 40% reduction in slippage speed and a maximum yaw angle reductions of 11.7%. iTAC also supports specialized drive modes such as terrain assist, track mode, drift mode and a mode for extracting a bogged down car.

Yesterday we brought you the launch of the IM L6 which is priced between 219,900 and 345,900 yuan (30,400 – 47,800 USD). This car however is revolutionizing handling and in the process pushing records.

As we broke the story a few days ago, the L6 has broken the 25 year old record for the fastest moose test speed. At the time we didn’t know by how much, now we know that the IM L6 not only broke the record, it smashed it. It had remained unbeaten since 1999 when a Citroën Xantia Activa V6 achieved 85 km/h. The IM L6 managed a speed of 90.96 km/h comprehensively beating the record thanks to the car’s clever technology.
That is not the only accolade the new car has, it is also in the form of the Max Super Performance model the fastest domestic EV on the market with a top speed of 308 km/h and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 2.74 seconds. The Max Super Performance model has a 200 kW electric motor with 300 Nm of torque on the front axle along with a 379 kW motor with 500 Nm of torque on the rear. Confusingly the top speed of this model is also listed as 268 km/h, and so whether there exists some sort of overdrive system or whether this is the non-limited speed is not clear. The speed not only beats the Xiaomi SU7 Max’s 265 km/h but also that of many well-known performance cars such as the Audi RS e-tron GT. Key to this performance is the self-developed hurricane motor which works at up to 21,000 rpm.

Perhaps one of the biggest surprises of yesterday’s launch was that the lizard digital chassis is standard across the range. This is one of the key elements which helped smash the moose test record. It controls movement of the car on three axes -the third being vertical – along with six degrees of freedom for movement of the whole vehicle. In an illustration it shows the action on the car when cornering meaning that the car remains level with the road rather than wallowing into the outward wheel. By doing so it increases stability allowing for higher speed maneuvering such as in the moose test. This not only adds to the stability of the vehicle but also makes it more stable in the event of an emergency action. It suppresses tail flick and increases the limits of the L6 by 5-8 km/h.
Illustration showing the effect of the IM L6’s vehicle motion control system
Four-wheel steering is included as part of the setup. It means the car is very flexible giving the L6 a turning radius of just 4.99 meters. It also helps reduce the length of a parking space needed to parallel park by 11%,
Comfort is upped through gimbal control meaning it eliminates roll, and nodding under extreme braking. Safety is also greater through better high-speed emergency obstacle avoidance. The L6’s system has a 30% faster response rate than with a traditional ESP system and there is 80% less deviation.

Editor’s note:

IM Motors has received a lot of headlines through its claims about solid state batteries which has now been backtracked to semi-solid state. Notably the Lightyear edition, which features the battery, did not go on sale at yesterday’s launch and is supposedly going to be available to order in September with deliveries commencing in October. Astute readers will notice that the price of 345,900 yuan (47,800 USD) is considerably higher than the 330,000 yuan (45,600 USD) quoted with the pre-sales. Furthermore, there has been to date no MIIT approval for the sale of this version, and the car cannot be sold in China without it.
It may well be the case that the semi-solid state battery will not be launched on this timetable. The fact that already the car is more expensive than originally thought is worrying. Nio first promised a semi-solid state battery in 2022 and it will only be finally available next month. Furthermore William Li, Nio’s founder, has said publicly that the battery costs around 300,000 yuan (41,450 USD) which is why it is not actually available to purchase. That the Lightyear version of the L6 is already being quoted more expensive than before shows all may not be well with the timetable for the launch of this version.
