That’s ridiculous.
Yutong bus sold to Norway has a serious security flaw.
The bus has a SIM card which enables remote control via cellular service. The bus can be put out of service remotely by China control center. Even doors can be locked or opened by Chinese staffs far away.
Most likely all Yutong and other Chinese made bus sold in Europe have the same flaw.
Maybe Europe should buy Vietnam buses instead.
 
BYD India expands retail footprint with new showroom in Hisar, Haryana

BYD India, a subsidiary of the world’s largest new energy vehicle (NEV)manufacturer, has expanded its retail presence in northern India withthe opening of a new showroom in Hisar, Haryana, in partnership withSAMTA BYD, Karnal. This marks the dealer partner’s third BYD outlet inthe state.

According to the official press release, the showroom is located on DelhiRoad, Hisar. The 2,800 sq ft facility has been designed in line with BYD’sglobal retail standards and will offer customers an immersive brandexperience, from detailed product consultations to test drives of thecompany’s full EV lineup available in India.

With this launch, BYD India’s retail network has grown to 47 showroomsacross 40 cities, operated through 18 dealer partners. The expansionunderlines the company’s focus on strengthening its footprint acrossboth metropolitan and emerging markets.


BYD delivers 10,000th electric passenger vehicle in India​


Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On August 30 local time, BYD India delivered its 9,999th, 10,000th, and 10,001st electric passenger vehicles, underscoring the company's rapid growth in the Indian market. The achievement reflects not only BYD's steady expansion in the country but also its broader commitment to advancing sustainable mobility.

Among the guests at the milestone event was Jeyakumar J, the first retail customer of a BYD passenger EV in India and now owner of three BYD vehicles, including the All NEW E6, ATTO 3, and most recently the SEALION 7. He spoke about the technological experience BYD vehicles have brought to his family and praised the company's global leadership in the EV sector.

BYD sets India sales record on back of dealership expansion​


BYD surpassed the 3,000-vehicle sales mark in early August, exceeding its total for the whole of 2024 and setting a new annual record in the Indian market. And it will likely see many more sales as the festive season, when Indians make the bulk of their major purchases, begins next month.
