I see but I haven't heard the names of any of those apps before. Only notable one which was very popular was tiktok.

Due to english exposure western content and services is very popular here, as more people move up the economic chain more people will buy services, it is predominantly western, japanese and korean right now.

Korean drama and anime is very popular among the younger populace rn.

Not all of them are banned. Rednote for example got a bit of traction after X was fucked up by musk.

It never took off though. I made a id on it but never used it. My most used social media app is whatsapp, telegram and reddit right now.

Similar case with Chinese drama, animation, music etc they aren't that popular here. I'm not saying it matters but india is a big market, chinese tech is really popular here cos of being vfm.
