New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday alleged that China has stopped Indian troops from patrolling in certain areas along the Line of Actual Control in Arunachal Pradesh and that the government was making efforts to "hide it".

Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju rejected reports of any new Chinese infiltration or land occupation in the state. Rijiju said there has been no new Chinese occupation of Indian territory in Arunachal Pradesh, while acknowledging that concerns raised by local residents over traditional grazing areas are genuine and deserve attention.
