Its decades to build a trust and goodwill like Boeing and airbus, China has long way to gonot really, boing lost their credibility and trust, there is empty seat on global market along airbus.
Fair enough, we never expect it happens overnight, China will be accounting for over 20% of the global civil aircraft demand for the next 20 years, so we can surely start at home first. Its decades to build a trust and goodwill like Boeing and airbus, China has long way to go
Aircraft manufacturer Boeing updated its market outlook, raising the demand for civil aircraft in the next 20 years from 42,595 in 2023 to nearly 44,000, an increase of approximately 3.24 percent, and China will lead all markets, being the largest single country market, accounting for 20 percent of the total.
Its only a matter of time before Europe accepts the C919, which will leave the US as having no choice but to accept it as well (or ban it out of sheer pettiness, which could cause legal and geopolitical issues for the US regime).China's C919 has obtained airworthiness certificates from many countries and is challenging the market monopoly of Boeing and Airbus

According to domestic media reports, the domestically-produced large aircraft C919 is challenging the monopoly of Boeing and Airbus in the global aviation market. Since completing its first commercial passenger mission in May 2023, the C919 has carried more than 1 million passengers in total and has now obtained airworthiness certificates from many countries.

The report pointed out that the C919 is a medium-range jet airliner independently developed by China and manufactured in full compliance with international airworthiness standards. Compared with Boeing 737 and Airbus A320, C919 performs better in safety, comfort and environmental protection. Currently, the total number of orders for C919 has exceeded thousands, but production has not yet increased. As of nearly two years of commercial operation, only 18 aircraft have been delivered. One reason for the low output is lack of production experience, and another reason is supply chain issues. About 40% of the C919's parts are imported from more than 200 suppliers around the world, including key components such as engines, avionics systems and flight control systems.
To solve these problems, China is gradually replacing imported parts with domestic parts. For example, the C919 has begun to replace the domestically produced Yangtze-1000A engine. It is expected that by 2027, the annual production of C919 will reach 150 aircraft, and the localization rate will exceed 80% by 2028. By then, C919 will be able to compete with Boeing and Airbus.

In addition, the C919 not only received orders from domestic airlines, but also attracted purchases from airlines in Vietnam, Brunei, Indonesia, Brazil and other countries. Even an airline under the General Motors Group of the United States purchased 20 C919s.
Although the C919 lacks European and American airworthiness certificates and cannot fly in European and American countries, many countries in Southeast Asia, South America, Africa and other regions have recognized China's airworthiness certification or issued their own airworthiness certificates for the C919. This shows that even without European and American airworthiness certificates, the C919 can carry out commercial operations in other countries. With the development of subsequent models C929 and C939, COMAC will further break the market monopoly of Boeing and Airbus.
agree about trust but do not agree about timeline, boing and airbus are remnants of slower times, china is represent of modern digital and fast times, so once they obtain all regulations requested paperwork and sell annual production it would be up to the product itself to be proven, if you like airbus did its thing in about 10-20 years during last 20years of 20th century, chinese might be little bit faster. Its decades to build a trust and goodwill like Boeing and airbus, China has long way to go
I'd argue that Boeing has gone out of its way to destroy that trust. It's newer models are explicity not safe to travel in, due to cost cutting and profiteering. When they put accountants in charge of the company, instead of actual engineers, they essentially destroyed the company's reputation. Its decades to build a trust and goodwill like Boeing and airbus, China has long way to go

Indian carriers do operate Dash-8 and ATR 72 type aircraft to regional airports, not Chinese, but not Boeing or AIrbus either.Congratulations to China.... it's a big achievement for any nation to have its own passenger aircraft.....
However atleast for next 2 decades I won't risk my life traveling in this chinese plane..... as of now I can't trust any plane except Boeing or airbus.....
There's no shortcut in aviation, main hurdle for China is to develop suitable engines for wide body airlineragree about trust but do not agree about timeline, boing and airbus are remnants of slower times, china is represent of modern digital and fast times, so once they obtain all regulations requested paperwork and sell annual production it would be up to the product itself to be proven, if you like airbus did its thing in about 10-20 years during last 20years of 20th century, chinese might be little bit faster.
Global times is a junk and unreliable source, always presented fake news and spreading false statistics lol
it is inevitable, do not be salty loser and lesser envy person.
Airbus is my preferred choice—I always feel safe and comfortable while traveling on Airbus planes. In India, the A321 series is particularly common.I'd argue that Boeing has gone out of its way to destroy that trust. It's newer models are explicity not safe to travel in, due to cost cutting and profiteering. When they put accountants in charge of the company, instead of actual engineers, they essentially destroyed the company's reputation.
There's a reason why Boeing is facing so many financial issues due to canceled orders. I wouldn't be surprised if they just outright cancel making new models, and just stick to building their flagship legacy models, and concentrate on their military contracts via the F-47 sixth generation fighter program for the navy and air force.
