China's C919 has obtained airworthiness certificates from many countries and is challenging the market monopoly of Boeing and Airbus

Yeah, problem with engines... only the British, French, and EU make reliable engines.

Soviet also build the airplanes, but core problem stay with engines
Little development progress has been made since they were given their first RR engine by the Brits. Can't reverse engineer everything.

Russia could be a major buyer to replace Boeing, Airbus.

almost all parts/sensors/engine are foreign, what is yours in your this toothless dragon?
I can feel your anger and desperation. LOLOL. The earlier models had alot of local components made by foreign companies due to certification and our belief in a balanced trade. However after Trump came, alot of these components are now sources from the Y20 program manufacturers. How do i know this? My cousin is in the C919 team.

No you can't export 919 to Russia because 919 has too much western components/sensors and engines on it and Russia is currently sanctioned by west

There could be a Russian version without Western components.

Then you need to develop 919 again from scratch with Chinese companies for Russians, and its takes at least 5 years to complete to design manaufacture 919 without western components

Not really. Switching out components is quite simple. In fact, even today, Chinese cars exported to Russia have Western components replaced by Chinese components.

Likewise, F-7PG had Italian Grifo radar instead of Chinese radar.

Since they're not getting parts these days from Boeing and Airbus, it makes sense, doesn't it?
Do you think the west will sanction Russia forever? and C-919 clearly eyes to entering western market first by roping in those western partners.

There is not a tripoly in the making. C919 will penetrate into those in the 3rd world and middle east, we can start going into cargoes, then slowly expand.

The Indians and American sepoys are getting edgy judging from their reactions. LOLOL

I have no idea what the politicians may or may not due in the future. If they do anything consistently it is being inconsistent in how they address various issues. I was simply stating fact: Western sanctions on Russia has cut the flow of spare parts, etc. to the Russian Boeing and Airbus fleets.

The C-919 may or may not be a viable competitor some day. But clearly not today.
