The US has realized that they cannot control the world with China's partnership.

They want to put Europe, Japan, and others on the menu, and request China's shared partition.

Japan is likely being the first on the menu, and that's why their PM Takaichi was meeting Trump ahead of the Trump-Xi summit as they are getting really scared.

As for Europe and others, China has not agreed anything because China still values the partnership with Europe.
