MAN Aurangabad is now cranking out engines for India’s P17A frigates with over 50% localization.
MAN Aurangabad is producing LM2500?
I thought MAN Aurangabad only produced diesel engines

They are made in China under a licensing agreement. PLA is under embargo, they cannot buy engines from Germany numb numb. That's the difference between China and India, one is spoonfed, one had to learn from scratch.
Dude, China doesn’t even use its own CHD620 engines in their subs. They’re shoving that crap down the throats of the Thai and Pakistani navies. Shows how much faith they have in their own stuff.

No, the Thai Navy is not stupid, if they don't have confidence in CHD620, they will implement last year's plan and use the money for purchasing submarines to purchase frigates.

It's baffling that they are testing it in waters which are part of the South China Sea itself. If they need to test it there, how will it perform for the Pakistani Navy, which operates in warmer and shallower waters that are different from the South China Sea and East China Sea?

Pakistan Navy also conducts its own acceptance tests. No navy with a formal acceptance process would fail to do so.

India takes great pride to announce to the world the contracts India signed to other countries to supply India with BIG GUNs , and yeah, ammo for those guns and bullets for their assault rifles

What to expect from a country unable to build toilets for Indians that Indians got to squat in fields and over drains to do blissful discharging.

I so wish DDG many happy blissful moments
