Chinese 6th Generation Aircraft News & Discussions

F-47 has zero chance of becoming operational within 2025-2039 timeframe. There's not even a prototype yet! It's all empty talk. Take it with a grain of salt.

It has nothing to do with when F-47 can enter service if ever.

It has nothing to do with the realized operational date of F-47, I just talk about the announced operational date of it, combining with Trump's personal characters and US intel, as a side proof for J-36/50's estimated date of operational.

Need for 6G isn't that urgent. PLAAF can probably deal with not having 6G until 2035.Based on the current fast testing speed, i'd expect J-36 and J-50 equipped with WS-15 could enter the service in the next 4-5 years.

This is insane, the wingtip control surface.

Definition...

Innovation is defined as the process of bringing about new ideas, methods, products, services, or solutions that have a significant positive impact and value. It involves transforming creative concepts into tangible outcomes that improve efficiency, and effectiveness, or address unmet needs.

So, from a technical standpoint, where are these 'innovations'?

Dont play with words, all these definitions you bring here are NOT quantitively measured, it is meaningless and can resort to all kinds of time-wasting word plays.

Let me give you a better measure: Top academic journal papers are peer-reviewed, and the basic requirement of a peer-reviewed journal, especially the top ones, is that you need to put either peer-reviewed new idea or new insight to the existing ideas or both here, and you can check how many of the top peer reviewed academic journal papers are written by Chinese nowadays.

It is not a place to play with words and wasting time, I know you have no life, so you can get plenty of time to waste like a loser you are, thats your strong point as a keybroad warrior, I give that to you, now you can save us some time and go back to topic of discussing the world first and second sixth gen fighters.

Why is it not surprising at all that you are like a triggered maga clown to jump out, ffs, give it a rest, old man.

Yes, those are genuine inventions, but they are also a looooong time ago.

What am asking is that in these Chinese new fighters, what technologies are new, not just adapted.

For starters. 3 engines on J-36. Name me one other fighter plane that has 3 engines. I'm all ears.

That is not new technology but adaptation of current technology. The XB-70 have six engines all in the fuselage. Granted, it was designed as a bomber, but multiple engines in that configuration is nothing new.
