That much is obvious. Japanese spend a lot of money in India in infra projects and provide soft loans as a form of soft power. Japan wants India to be more active against China.

A united front will still be very dettarance against China. The question will still revolve to how much is China willing to lose while taking Taiwan. And now much will the Americans and Japanese be willing to get involved in the conflict. For now it's just war games for each side.

The Americans and Japanese cannot do much. Taiwan belongs to China. It is a renegade province of China. Only a matter of time before China claims its province. The handful of F-16s in Taiwan are useless.

Just like Russia entered Ukraine and did the necessary, China will most certainly enter Taiwan.

Pakistan and India cannot be compared. Only parts of Pakistan were integrated with Hindustan. Other parts were connected with other regional countries. Pakistan is not a homogeneous country. Ukraine and Russia are homogeneous. Taiwan and China are homogeneous.

Any country when separated and balkanised would evolve into something different and eventually form their own identity. That doesn't mean that these separate blocs didn't belong to each other. They obviously once did.

China will invade Taiwan. You will likely see this during your lifetime. Taiwan doesn't have the capacity to kill hundreds of thousands or millions. Not population wise nor militarily. China will walk into Taiwan and take it over. It will be that simple.

Japan is just a meaningless agitator though. What is Japan going to do against China? Even the QUAD has failed spectacularly. No one talks about the QUAD anymore. The Japanese used to be a cheerleader of QUAD. Japan is desperate and looking for ways to agitate China.
