Boeing and Airbus also have many parts imported from various foreign suppliers, The reason that C919 recruited many foreign suppliers was to get easier foreign air worthiness approval and lobbying power from the foreign partners to help the plane to crack open western market, C919 is playing a long game, the domestic replacement of the engines had long been ready.

What is the point of this graphic ? All commercial aircraft today, including Boeing and Airbus use components from foreign countries. So does the Chinese plane.
