Chinese Missile Development News

Revealing the previous generation of anti-ballistic missile systems. Newer generation is coming into service then if they are showing these guys now.

To be very frank, I came here to see the joke. This kind of rumor is an IQ test, only stupid people will believe it and reprint it. Solid fuels are not candles, burn uncontrollably and are highly toxic. Used to heat hot pot. Are the people who eat the hot pot prepared to die? It's absolutely ridiculous.
you can expect extreme stupidity beyond your wildest imagination from Indians to spread false self-pleasing propaganda.

Can you guys share on Chinese social media forums what are the rumors or news about ranges of these missiles?

China's Hypersonic Missiles
Missile Type
Ship-launched Platform
Air-launched Platform
Land-launch Platform
HGV(Waverider)YJ-17No conclusive evidenceDF-17
HGV(Double-cone)YJ-20YJ-21 / JL-1DF-26D
HCMYJ-19(Submarine-launch)No conclusive evidenceCJ-1000

1. According to leaked information, the DF-21D also uses a double-cone warhead design. In other words, it is also a HGV. However, Chinese officials have not used this term to describe it.

2. China has not officially released the performance specifications of these new toys (YJ-17/19/20, JL-1, CJ-1000, etc.). The data we have so far is speculation by military enthusiasts. I will not comment on this data.

3. The YJ-17 is a variant of the DF-17; the YJ-20 is a variant of the YJ-21.

4. In theory, both the YJ-17 and YJ-19 could be easily converted into air-launched platforms, but we currently have no confirmed information.

This photo shows that the differences between the DF-26A/B/C models are not upgrades, but rather different purposes. Combined with the previous official description of the DF-26D, its sub-models are as follows:
DF-16A: Nuclear warhead
DF-26B: Anti-aircraft carrier warhead
DF-26C: Conventional warhead
DF-26D: Hypersonic warhead

Note: "This is the commander-in-chief of the various sub-models of the DF-26 missile series, representing all HIT(Harbin Institute of Technology) alumni who participated in this event during HIT's centennial celebration. A model of the DF-26 missile and its launch vehicle was presented as a token of gratitude to our alma mater for its nurturing support."
==================================
Just kidding: This missile(DF-26A/B/C/D) perfectly meets all of Pakistan's needs.
LOL

Dongfeng 41 in 2019, Dongfeng 61 in 2025. Two generations have been updated in six years.

In the past, and as far back as 6 to 7 years ago (in earlier forums, I mentioned of China successful harnessing of nitrogen anion explosive.

In the video above of China's JL-3 SLBM: structure, propulsion, you will find very explicit descriptions of how China using nitrogen anion to enhance the missile propulsion of JL-3.

I presume that also used for all other categories of CHineese missiles, in addtion to providing much bigger bang as well

Second launch, is it a strike or an interception?

Maneuvering and Trajectory Changes + Secondary Dive Acceleration: The Rocket Cloud Over Beijing Might Be a New Type of Hypersonic Missile!

It is likely that many people witnessed it with their own eyes. On the evening of September 29, a strikingly beautiful rocket cloud reappeared over northern China, with regions such as Beijing, Hebei, and Shanxi observing the spectacular process of the "rocket cloud" forming and gradually dispersing into a colorful cloud mass.

The most astonishing aspect was that this "rocket" exhibited a significant downward trajectory adjustment and secondary dive acceleration (with a relatively shallow dive angle) during its flight. Particularly during the trajectory adjustment, when viewed from behind, the "rocket" even appeared to perform a "right-angle turn" maneuver. These characteristics indicate that this "rocket" was clearly not the Kuaizhou-1 carrier rocket launched on the same day and was most likely a hypersonic vehicle.

If it were indeed a hypersonic missile, the various unusual features of this "rocket cloud" would make sense. Additionally, the fact that the "rocket cloud" remained condensed without dispersing suggests that the hypersonic missile was flying in near space, at an altitude of 50 to 100 kilometers above the Earth's surface, without exiting the atmosphere. The secondary acceleration could potentially be attributed to the warhead of the hypersonic missile undergoing boost-glide maneuvering (though some analyses suggest it might have been the activation of a scramjet engine).

Overall, based on the above information, it can be reasonably inferred that this was a hypersonic missile. However, whether it was one of the hypersonic missiles displayed during the September 3 military parade or a new type that has not yet been publicly revealed remains unknown...
