Chinese PLAAF News

To be honest, if PAF buys all the J-10Cs from China, it is very likely to get into big trouble.

Because China has a number of J-10Cs to ensure the follow-up upgrade and maintenance of all J-10C and J-10CE. If China does not have-10C, then...
That is very good point. I didnt think of it

Do you mean:

The PAF is now proposing to China to purchase all of the PLAAF's currently operational J-10C fighter jets. When the PLAAF commissions its new J-16/J-20/J-35 fighter jets and retires the J-10C, these J-10C aircraft will be directly delivered to the PAF?

Really?

The PLAAF currently has a very large number of J-10C aircraft, and the PAF is unable to acquire all of them. If the PAF were to acquire a portion of the J-10C aircraft, China would likely be happy to agree.

The problem lies in negotiating the quantity, price, and payment methods.

However, I believe the PAF will not make such a request. Pakistan does not like second-hand Chinese weapons.
No, I said what if we in future couple of years try to acquire PLAAF J-10C not proposing right now. but i get your point of view. Thanks

No matter how good the relationship between PAF and CAC is, CAC is still a company and always prioritizes profit. If the supervision of PLAAF is lost, no one can guarantee that CAC will continue to serve PAF, at least it is unlikely to work as hard as serving PLAAF.

Why is PAF eager to purchase new aircraft before IAF obtains them? The current air superiority belongs to PAF, right? And you also have many urgent areas that require funding.

Agree.. but we have to retire many old aircrafts and in few years we will need to acquire new jets to maintain atleast 18 or more squadrons

Indeed interesting … also that they still have their colourful PLAAF symbols and original RuAF-style camouflage.
This is the latest footage released by the Southern Theater Command of the PLA.
Therefore, I call it a rare sight.

Exactly and it was never my intention to disagree, quite to the contrary I wanted to add only an Untergrund additional detail.

But is it truly „historical“ and do you know when it was taken?
The original article was posted by the well-known military blogger "齐天的孙猴子," but it has now been deleted. You will need to make your own judgment.

It has been mentioned that during the early stages of the PLA Navy's carrier-based aircraft pilot training, there were foreign instructors.

Chinese official agencies have never publicly released this information.

However, there is an interesting official news report.
A female elite pilot (of carrier-based fighter jets) from a certain country, after retiring, chose to settle in China due to her many disappointments with her own government. Currently, she is a captain of a passenger aircraft for a Chinese airline company. The official news report did not reveal whether she changed her nationality, but mentioned that she holds permanent residency in China.

Intersting… my first thought was these are quite recent images. And as such they are likely not showing foreign pilots being trained in China but they seem to be foreign pilots working in China to train PLAAF pilots.

YES.

There are several possibilities:
1. Foreign pilots interacting with Chinese pilots (during military exercises or similar activities).
2. Chinese pilots assisting in training foreign pilots in China.
3. Foreign pilots coming to China to help train Chinese pilots.
All of these possibilities exist.

However, such photos are indeed very rare.
