Minister For Information And Broadcasting Atta Tarar has said that the Chinese Ruyi Group will invest seven billion dollars and set up textile parks in Sindh and Punjab Provinces.
Talking to media in Islamabad, the Information Minister said that the group will make an investment of two billion dollars in the first phase while five billion dollar investment will be made in the second phase.
He said the Chinese Ruyi Group made the assurances in a meeting with Prime Minsiter Shehbaz Sharif while a Memorandum Of Understanding has also been signed between Pakistan and the group.
Atta Tarar said that the project will generate half a million employment opportunities.
He said that more than 100 Chinese companies will set up units in textile parks to make the projects successful.
