I think India this time might has a good chance of winning the Olympics Bid 2036. It's more likely between India and Qatar that has successfully hosted world cup. Apparently, IOC has asked China to host Olympics 2036, but China is no longer interested in hosting this kind money burning games that often are biased against China and people want the gov to spend money on Chinese social welfares instead.

If India hosts the Olympics, it will be a major health hazard. I don’t think many athletes would be enthused about going to India.
