A new photo. There's a lot of information in there that can be analyzed.

The unmanned tiltrotor aircraft LaShadow R6000 of China's private airline "United Aircraft" has been taken offline, aiming to perform cargo missions in the near future and transport 7-10 passengers in the long term. This aircraft model adopts a tilt rotor configuration, with a maximum takeoff weight of 6 tons and a commercial load capacity of 2 tons. It supports unmanned driving with passengers, has a range of 4000 kilometers, a maximum cruising speed of 550 kilometers per hour, and can achieve cross regional flight of 1500 kilometers, with a maximum cruising altitude of 7620 meters. The first prototype of UR6000 is scheduled to be unveiled at the China Air Show in Zhuhai later this year.

The UR6000 coating displayed on the company's website is the coating of the People's Liberation Army Air Force. However, officials from United Aircraft Corporation insist that the aircraft was only developed for civilian purposes.

I still feel that having a small swarm of UAVs over your head to protect against enemy drones would be a much more effective and cheaper solution.

maybe, you will see it next month Shenzhen, then there will be more detailed explanation and comparison.

All of mankind's offensive and defensive weapons are compared, and the cost of defense is much higher than the cost of offense for the same category of weapon.
Using a missile to intercept an incoming missile costs several times as much.
Similarly, using swarm drones to intercept swarm drones is too costly. Electronic jamming, laser weapons, CIWS. these weapons systems are much more efficient and less costly.

That is why reducing that cost is crucial. Laser weapon is far more expensive. Not only the manufacturing process is more expensive and requires specialized technologies and skills, but also is its operation. The power to fire one shot takes much more power than flying a few small UAVs.

The Chinese anti-drone laser weapon system that recently showed up in Iran, it's on AliExpress for $1999/set. It is very cheap to use.
Batteries and piggybacking platforms of your choice depending on the situation

I would believe it after I see it in action.

Saudi Arabia has already purchased China's Silent Hunter System(LW-30) and has successfully shot down drones in combat. The cost of using it is about 1 dollar per use.
The Saudis bought the full military deluxe version, while Iran bought the civilian low-profile version.

To be frank, if Ukraine war has taught us anything, that is not to believe any hike until you see it in action. People gave high praise to fancy toys like switchblade and javelins. But it is the humble FPV drones that are ruling the battlefield. Sometime, an improvised solution is more effective than a well-thought-out-well-lab-tested one.

I agree with this. I think PLA totally agrees with this as well.PLAGF is still adding wire mesh to tanks/armored vehicles today when China is already very advanced in the anti-drone field.

Flexibility on the battlefield is critical. What we can do is to give more options to frontline commanders. The fact that they only have wire mesh to choose from is not the same concept as the fact that they have many solutions to choose from!

by the way, Laser has long been popularized for civilian use in China:one example, Laser cutting tree branches, which jeopardize high-voltage power lines
