Using a missile to intercept an incoming missile costs several times as much.
Similarly, using swarm drones to intercept swarm drones is too costly. Electronic jamming, laser weapons, CIWS. these weapons systems are much more efficient and less costly.

The Saudis bought the full military deluxe version, while Iran bought the civilian low-profile version.
I agree with this. I think PLA totally agrees with this as well.PLAGF is still adding wire mesh to tanks/armored vehicles today when China is already very advanced in the anti-drone field.But it is the humble FPV drones that are ruling the battlefield. Sometime, an improvised solution is more effective than a well-thought-out-well-lab-tested one.
