Controversy at the Sunset Lodge

Note:

On file in the Courthouse is a professional report by a licensed hearing aid dealer in Oklahoma basically telling the Court it is not possible for me to follow any court hearing without proper aid, such as a interpreter.

Ask the nice former court reporter next time I stop in to get it for me.

§ 2412. Notice of necessity of interpreter--Proof of hearing loss
Currentness
Every deaf or hard-of-hearing person whose appearance in any proceeding entitles that person to a qualified legal interpreter shall make a good faith effort to notify the appointing authority of the desire of the person for an interpreter. An appointing authority may require a person requesting the appointment of an interpreter to furnish reasonable proof of hearing loss when the appointing authority has reason to believe that the person does not have a hearing loss.

Last audiologist I went to:

Marc Freeman

Owasso, Oklahoma

Now retired. New audiologist will be mailing the special report Mr. Freeman did for me to give the Nowata Court House five years ago.

This is the man who sponsored the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Act back in 2017. Now law.

Spoke with a staff member of his office. Gave my case numbers and a short comment that Judge Gibson has decided, again, the Act does not apply in my case.

Also suggested the State Senator follow my first case at the Appellate level.

He needs to realize both the judicial and administrative branches are ignoring his law.

This is a shame. I remember when she bought this food trailer new and was out there every day offering great BBQ sandwiches for great prices.

Excellent location along Highway 60, across from the only grocery store in the county.

People in Nowata County do not support local businesses. They rather drive 20 miles east to Bartlesville. Or 30 miles south to Owasso.

One of primary problems in a county like Nowata, is it is in Indian Territory, Cherokee Nations.

Businesses have to buy additional licenses from Cherokee Nations in order to do business.

In essence, doing business in Nowata means paying federal, state, county, local AND tribal taxes.

Every day, more and more working poor are being put into perpetual servitude for minor things.....

A Bartlesville woman is facing a felony charge after allegedly hitting a child with a belt.

35-year-old Megan DeVeronica was charged on Thursday with child abuse.

According to the Bartlesville Police Department, DeVeronica was allegedly attempting to discipline the child. DeVeronica allegedly struck the child in the bottom and in the upper back. The victim allegedly had bruising on the shoulder.

According to the Bartlesville Police Department, DeVeronica allegedly admitted to striking the child more than once.

DeVeronica will appear in court again on Oct. 31 at 9 a.m. Her bond is set at $50,000.

This is outrageous. Back when I was young, every one of us got the belt. Now days?

And Judge Gibson says I do not have the right to a hearing interpreter.

A lot has happened this past week.

What is going on in Nowata, Oklahoma will make for a horror flick.

Still not ready to put it down in words.

The yellow cat. His name is Trippy.

Every day, for over two years, he and I walked around the block. Sometimes, three times a day. Brought a lot of joy into my life.

A week ago when I came home, he was lying in the alley, barely conscious.

Picked him up. Carried him around the block. Held him tight. Told him how much I loved him.

Then let him go off to die in peace.

He was poisoned. Without a doubt, it was Carlos. Nothing I can do about it.

The other cats will not likely walk with me again.

To recap:

This small hick town in North East Oklahoma is run by a small group of inbred Cherokees at the Sunset Lodge who have been terrorizing the rest of us for at least twenty years.

Countless times, the FBI, the Attorney General for the State of Oklahoma, and others, have been contacted, in the hopes someone will clear out the corruption here in Nowata.

A few days before I was railroaded for the third time, one of the local piggies parked in front of my house.

Wanted to speak with me.

Went out to see what he wanted.

Told me I am a very dangerous man.

I smiled.

Been through this several times before, in other towns and cities.

Tell the locals, who are also being railroaded, what I learned in other places.

"Flip the script"

That's what we did in Detroit.

Nowata is a tough nut to crack. But we will bust their balls.

Told several people we will end up being infamous, but be smart.
