Word salads!!!

Is she Kamala Harris in disguise lol

TELL ME ABOUT IT.

Am I going to be accused of derailing the thread.

I have a ton of specific examples.

It starts with their bullying no nothing managers - with their stupid MBAs. But no understanding of the basics!

It’s truly shocking how they psychologically torture their underlings!

And ofcourse caste and regional politics is rife.

If China want to thrill real people, show some real world applications using deepseek, like a better translator than Google Translate.

AI generative of images and video internet memes doesnt thrill me, it's a stupid useless use of AI.

The same to language models that say nothing but to repeat search engines results in internet with some sum up formula that doesnt need AI to work (just taking the phrases with the words with less frequency).

AI world is filled with bubbles and babbling, like first financial bubble of dotcom companies 25 years ago.

Humans dont learn, wasting resources in financial bubbles on and on, when most of the world is underdeveloped and lacking things that have been invented centuries ago.

You know how China works, right?

The lifecycle goes like this:

1. Build the western version at low pay
2. Put out cheap pirated version
3. Put out a branded cheaper model
4. Launch a parity version at much cheaper cost
5. Launch a better version at lower cost
6. Flood the market and wipe out competition

Rinse and repeat.

On EV, they are on stage 4.
On AI, they are on stage 3.
On telecoms equipment they reached stage 6 a decade ago.

This time the quality is seemingly there on deep seek

But they call this sputnik moment

Well sputnik was eclipsed

Don't discount USA, this is just starting

But also, we might all be looking at this wrong , like the turkeys that got excited about Christmas

I mean at one level ai is ultimately there to render less need for humans

The news hype can make you feel like you are a part of a historic moment, with each breakthrough and milestone, it feels a bit like your own history....or obituary 🤔

Russia was strapped for cash due to being a socialist republic.

Much smaller population.

Also had the burden of keeping an empire together.

China has no such shackles.

Banning China from using the latest NVIDIA chips and restricting its access to U.S. chip technology may have been one of the biggest strategic missteps of west generation. Instead, the U.S. should have pursued a policy of strategic cooperation to keep China dependent on American technology. Every time China sells products built with U.S. tech, the U.S. could have claimed a share of the profits. Now, not only will the U.S. lose that revenue stream, but it will also cede market share and erode its technological advantage.

As Lyndon Johnson famously put it,

“It’s better to have your enemies pissing out of the tent than pissing in”

China is drenching the US’ tent!

@F22fighter

Nvidia losses are 600billion in market value and 1 trillion for Nasdaq !
