Dhaka in deep talks with IsDB over $1b Eastern Refinery loan terms

Also - Where is the proof of your claim that I asked you earlier? You claimed We don't need the byproducts of refined oil. Provide the proof.

Still waiting.
Debating with you is pointless because you will pluck out some nonsense from Google search and I do not have @Owaiz time to debunk you.

And when you lose an argument you’ll use the “mod privileges” to lash out like a street thug.

Anyway, as @Owaiz has also pointed out BD doesn’t have the backward and forward linkage to process the gunge that is left over. Which reduces the viability even more.

He has also supported my assertion that it won’t lead to much (if any) forex savings once you factor in cost of crude, cost of refining, loans.

And you cannot tripple capacity of anything and still call it brownfield.

That’s just unhinged thinking.

Better to spend some time looking for better lenders at better rates. Can't see what is so urgent that you want a bad deal
They were looking for one for 17 years. And guess how many was there?

None. Nada. Zero.

It absolutely is a brownfield project.

When Chevron undertook Bibiyana expansion project, it increased gas production capacity in Bangladesh from 300 million cubic feet per day to 1.4 billion cubic feet per day. That's almost 5 times, and it was still considered a brownfield project. It was an expansion, not a new greenfield investment. You may have an opinion about it being a greenfield project because of the magnitude, but that's what it is, an opinion.

But you go chicken out as always do. Because you do not have the decency to admit you are wrong after making a baseless claim.

You got thread banned by @Musings in the other thread.

But now I am going to give you point for abusing mods. I am well within the forum rules to do so. I will keep your post up too, so that everyone can see the liar that you really are.

Thread was doing fine until pointless discussion initiated by anti Bangladesh agents also known as hindustani dalals, sponsored by our so called friendly neighbor who is definitely going to lose lucrative business opportunities because of this refinery expansion project. Hence the whining by the dalals.
.
This project is about our sovereign capability. Every foul logic peddled by dalals here are just laughable. Especially when they try to sell us petroleum industry as a old and dieing. The desperation! lol...
.
Suddenly these dalals are very concerned about environment! They were cheering Rampal coal power plant as development even when absconding fascist BAL and india built it very close to Sundarban ignoring environmentalists.
.
Suddenly these dalals are very concerned about financing of this project by IsDBs 5.45% profit rate! But, they were cheering Padma Bridge as development when absconding fascist BAL built it using 8% interest rate short maturity local loan/bonds. Triggering dollar market crisis and massive inflation.
.
Anyways, these dalals should come with logical arguments with proper sources instead of mouth farts.
