The US may target Iranian naval assets in the Red Sea

Apparently Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Ansarallah, Syrian Arab Army ... are all Shia
But Gazans being majorly Sunni didnt even make any Sunni regional power take 1 useful step to protect Gazans from genocide. "Shia" is often an excuse for sectarian and hateful and small minded types.
Some people only see what they want to see
well said.

Did you know many mullahs in Pakistan motivated people to fly to Syria to join FSA/ISIS for jihad and many did end up going there :D
This is news to me.

Iranian Foreign Policy might not be sectarian though. Any takers will do.

ISIS was created by people in Iraq and Syria:

The movement certainly drew people from different countries around the world. This is the age of internet and connectivity. No shortage of portals and influencers out there.

Iraq and Syria had plans to merge back in the days of the Cold War, but Saddam Hussein opposed this move.

Saddam's demise paved way for some elements in both countries to take the matter into their own hands. These issues have long background roots. Nothing is simple and straightforward there.

I don't know where are you getting this from but in reality, Arab countries have much more sectarian divide than Iran, shia muslims getting beheaded in Saudia, not allowed to call for prayers, and in UAE they still deport shia if they find out you are performing shia rituals etc, irony is hindu can celebrate holi, but shia can't commemorate their rituals etc, their ID cards are scanned even when going for Friday prayers.

They still term shia as kafir, on the other hand you can see Iran's khamienie calling sunnis as more than brothers.
Yes - I’ll reiterate - this is NOT isolated to Iran nor is it and why Im repeatedly pointing out that this proxy conflict and usage of proxies is less about sectarianism and more about national interests.

What you call brother is irrelevant - so where Khamenei is calling Sunnis brothers they are pushing the opposite ideology within countries that have Shia populations.

So either they’re brothers or not - but for Hamas’s case it is. The key aspect is that it ISNT about Shiaism(as the GCC arabs do it) nor Sunnism but whatever can work for Iran’s national interest. If its using Shiaism to push one agenda and brotherhood to push the other - that doesn’t seem to matter. At the end, its ordinary people and the religion that gets trampled in this case.

Just to reaffirm - Im not saying Iran is the only one that does this.

Troops vs troops is fair game, civilians is definitely not, I am too sitting in US, how can I call for attack on americas :D
Abusing uniformed troops is not. Even for Israel and I say this knowing the atrocities they are coming. Otherwise, everyone flings abuses and might as well not discuss anything

I agree with most of what you said, for Iran its mostly protecting their national interests, though now things are moving in better direction since MBS era, hopefully we will see united ME soon.

That is being citied as one plausible(very small conspiracy idea) as to why Hamas chose to attack(were goaded to by Iran or it could even be Israelis themselves) due to the possibility that if KSA settled things with Israel and has already settled things with Iran - their current regime would be under pressure and then on the other side Nethenyahu would lose his government.

Whether its one or the other, or together or neither is all conjecture and 400 youtube videos can be found with all sorts of these theories.

lol, may be some pro-iran shia from Paksitan went there too, but they were only a few, i am against it, TBH I actually havent even heard of this zainabiyun brigade, but question is what was the ideology? zainabiyun went there to protect the shrines family of Prophet Mohammad SAWW which ISIS was bombing, but what was the cause for pro-ISIS forces from paksitan? It was just to kill shias, jihad against shias since they are worse than Zionists.

You linked like dozens of articles about a militia which probably didn't even kill a single person in Pakistan, but at same time you managed to keep blind eye towards your beloved ISIS fellows in Pakistan like TTP, lashkar e jahangvi etc who have killed tens of thousands.

Justice will be if you share 1 link each for every pakistani killed by pro-iran militia and 1 article each for a pakistani killed by TTP and the likes.

From one of the links I shared:

The group’s fighters — many of them minors — were recruited in Pakistan and among Pakistani refugees by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and its Basij militia, and trained for operations in the Syrian civil war, which broke out in 2011.

Some of the recruits have returned to Pakistan, especially during COVID-19 closures, prompting authorities to step up its crackdown on their activity.

Since last year, Pakistani counterterrorism police have arrested a number of Iran-trained militants connected to a series of assassinations, mainly in the seaside megapolis of Karachi in Sindh province. Police said they were Zainabiyoun Brigade members.

In late July, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan told the Senate that the Zainabiyoun were among the militants “found actively involved in terrorist activities” in the country from 2019 to 2021.

You did not even bother to check the links in my post.

And who told you that those groups are my beloved? This is your idea of having a productive conversation? I am not discussing competition between who killed the most Pakistani here. You misunderstood my post and prematurely judged me with allegations. I shall not respond to you further.

That may very well be possible, arabs and Israel were getting very close and Iran felt little isolated and thought If KSA and Israel came close, it will become difficult for Iran to survive, so they pushed Hamas to start a new conflict.

That will be both impossible in many aspects and also subjective based upon the relative population strength.
