whatever the US response is, I predict the Iraqi and Syrian resistance will resume targeting the US occupation bases in their countries within 48 hours

That will be both impossible in many aspects and also subjective based upon the relative population strength.
Correct and I understand, was just trying to convey 1 and, 100 or 1000 are not equal.

I have no doubt if Trump were in power we’d be seeing attacks on Iran in response.
No he wouldn't. Resources or Israel aren't on the line. It's a few men that the rich don't care about. There'll be a few air strikes in Iraq and/or Syria. Israel wants to avoid a regional war and so do other nations in the region. However, Israel is trying hard to test the limits of the region with its ruthless final solution against Palestinians that it is executing. This is all thanks to the ego of Israel and Israeli people. And the Jewish-American community.

Seeing a lot of Americans and Congressmen calling for strikes on Iran.
Are you related to Lindsey Graham ? How many times do I have to explain to you. Israel wants to commit genocide unbothered. It doesn't want a regional war. A regional war means attacks on Israel, a power vacuum in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf nations which has never been witnessed before, and Egypt having to go to war after its economy would collapse in the event of war hitting the Gulf. It would result in total mayhem for the sake of Israeli and Jewish Supremacist ego. It would be better for the world to stop the Israeli ego.

Lots of these twitter handles act as if they have some classified intelligence of some sort. Once strikes happen, if US announces them, it will be shared with journalists that will publish the details. I don't expect something big and the status quo will continue for coming months. Maybe around April time we can expect something. Considering the stated goals of Israel and other factors.

I dont understand why the Americans would lie about the location being inside Jordan which it clearly was not. I think they used Jordan in order to make the hit much bigger then it is.. The Jordanian Govt immediately did due diligence and confirmed basically what the Militia has claimed which was an attack on Al-Tanf base in Syria. The Jordanian gov't denied this incident happening inside Jordan.

This kind of misinformation is not good as Jordan has a strong airforce and overall armed to the teeth. The American forces want to come under Jordanian protection but they are outside of Jordanian territory and inside Syria.

Note if the Attack had happened in Jordan then the Jordanian Airforce would be expected and forced to respond because it is their territory. They could launch 60+ F-16A fighter jets and basically clean border area without deterence which is why the US used the report that the incident happened in Jordan but after a due diligence it did indeed occur inside Syrias Al-Tanf

ISIS is a US proxy, used to fight Iran-allied or friendly govts and entities- look at the regional facts and events (this is ISIS's 3rd attack on Iran and it has never attached ISrael - US PROXY!), they speak for themselves.

ISIS is basically a ghost entity at this point they exist and dont exist at the same time and I can assure you that the latest hit was not done by them but rather by Israel. Every dog can release an ISIS claim out but the question is can we even differentiate today what is ISIS or what is not.. Is the motive not really clear it was an Israel hit on Iran period.. Every individual can do it and then release an ISIS claim because nobody will deny it or confirm it because ISIS is simply dormed element that doesnt exist at all today as a functioning body. Anyone can put certain explosions at any location and then release a claim that wont be denied or confirmed

Three US troops killed in Jordan drone strike linked to Iran

WASHINGTON, Jan 28 (Reuters) - Three U.S. service members were killed and at least 34 wounded in a drone attack by Iran-backed militants on U.S. troops in northeastern Jordan near the Syrian border, President Joe Biden and U.S. officials said on Sunday.
It is the first deadly strike against U.S. forces since the Israel-Hamas war erupted in October, and marks a major escalation in tensions that have engulfed the Middle East.
"While we are still gathering the facts of this attack, we know it was carried out by radical Iran-backed militant groups operating in Syria and Iraq," Biden said in a statement.
"Have no doubt - we will hold all those responsible to account at a time and in a manner of our choosing," he said.
Iran's mission to the United Nations said in a statement on Monday that Tehran was not involved in the attack.
"Iran had no connection and had nothing to do with the attack on the U.S. base," the mission said in a statement published by the state news agency IRNA.
It added: "There is a conflict between U.S. forces and resistance groups in the region, which reciprocate retaliatory attacks."
Biden asked for a moment of silence for the three killed service members during a campaign event in South Carolina, adding: "We shall respond."
U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin echoed that threat. He and other senior officials briefed Biden earlier in the day on the attack.
At least 34 personnel were injured in the attack, but that number is expected to change as more people seek care, according to a statement from U.S. Central Command. Eight personnel were evacuated from Jordan for higher level care, but are in stable condition.
Two U.S. officials said the drone struck near the barracks early in the morning, which could explain the high number of casualties.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, an umbrella organization of hardline Iran-backed militant groups, claimed attacks on three bases, including one on the Jordan-Syria border.
The attack is likely to fan fears of wider conflict in the Middle East, where war broke out in Gaza after Palestinian Islamist group Hamas' attack on Israel on Oct. 7 which killed 1,200. Israel's subsequent assault on Gaza has killed over 26,000 Palestinians, according to the local health ministry.
Since then, U.S. forces have come under attack more than 150 times by Iran-backed groups in Iraq and Syria, causing at least 70 casualties prior to Sunday's attack, most of them traumatic brain injuries.
U.S. warships have also been fired at by Iran-backed Houthi forces in Yemen, who are regularly attacking commercial ships passing through Red Sea waters off Yemen's coast.

While the United States has thus far maintained an official line that Washington is not at war in the region, it has been retaliating against the Iran-backed groups in Iraq and Syria and carrying out strikes against Yemen's Houthi military capabilities.

BIDEN PRESSURED ON IRAN

Republican opponents of Biden seized on the attack as evidence of the Democratic president's failure to confront Iran as its proxies strike against U.S. forces across the region.
"The only answer to these attacks must be devastating military retaliation against Iran’s terrorist forces ... Anything less will confirm Joe Biden as a coward," said Republican Senator Tom Cotton in a statement.
U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell said Biden's inaction was emboldening enemies of the United States in the Middle East.
"The time to start taking this aggression seriously was long before more brave Americans lost their lives," McConnell said.
A senior official with the Iran-backed Palestinian militant group Hamas, Sami Abu Zuhri, directly tied the attack to Israel's campaign in Gaza.
"The killing of three American soldiers is a message to the U.S. administration that unless the killing of innocents in Gaza stops, it must confront the entire nation," he told Reuters.
"The continued American-Zionist aggression on Gaza is capable of exploding the situation in the region."
The U.S. military said the attack occurred at a base in northeastern Jordan, near the Syrian border. It did not name the base, but a person familiar with the matter identified it as Tower 22 in Jordan.
U.S. military activity in Jordan can be a sensitive issue, particularly at a time of heightened tensions due to the Israel-Hamas conflict, because of increasing concern in Jordan about the war spreading.
The Jordanian government said only that the attack occurred at an "advanced post" along its border with Syria.
Late last year, Amman asked Washington to deploy Patriot air defense systems to bolster its border defense.
It has requested more aid to tackle drones used in a raging multibillion-dollar drug war along the border with Syria, which Amman blames on pro-Iranian militias who hold sway in southern Syria.
The kingdom has hundreds of U.S. trainers in the country and holds extensive exercises with U.S. troops throughout the year.

When you start your day with a good news. Have fun in hell. Like Arabs says, الی جهنم

IRNA says Iran has denied any involvement, it's like Iran saying that all of its missiles have a range of 2,000 KM and never planned for more than that.

Jordan is sensitive for USA, first they lean heavily against Jordan for their illegal operations in west Asian region hence Jordan has become main axis for CENTCOM terrorists and secondly Jordan is main bridge for trans regional forces and terrorist groups to annoy Iran-led resistance axis.

US is not Pakistan. It takes the deaths of its citizens and soldiers very seriously.

3 US soldiers killed = military campaign waged halfway across the world against those responsible

400 Pakistani soldiers killed this year = More sucking up to Afghan and Iranian "brozzers in islam" while the most popular politician and his brainwashed bhakts blindly lend phul sapport to those responsible.

The USA has 4 options

1) pressure Israel to end its genocide in Gaza

2) withdraw its forces from the region

3) go to total war with the Axis of Resistance (including Iran)

4) launch strikes against Syrian Resistance fighters and return to status quo and wait for the next Syrian/Iraqi Resistance strike that kills US soldiers

I am not sure what some token strikes inside Iran (something the USA never did before) will achieve other than inviting a direct response from Iran and convincing the Resistance forces to step up attacks against US forces across the region

I think option we will see option 4 in the short term and hopefully option 2 in the medium-long term
they have no good options, in reality they are sitting ducks for drones and rockets and without deploying hunders of thousands of troops in region it will remain so, they are victims of their own strategy.
what is even worse for them, they do not have high valued targets for retaliation.
