Education: State of Schooling in Pakistan 🇵🇰

No, do I have to spoonfeed you? Don't use stupid irrelevant quotes to prove your point. Just get to the point, We Pakistanis are using the best of ur budget to fix our country.
I'm not going to spoonfeed you. Perhaps some enterprising Pakistani here at PDF will actually bother to look at the year-by-year budget outlays and figure out the rest from there.

I just saw a video on Facebook yesterday. A female have made a video of multiple classrooms of a primary school which was supposedly privatized. All the fans in every classroom were turned off and the power circuits removed. The female that was making video asked multiple kids why the fans are off, and all of them were replying that "madam told us that we need to turnoff the fan otherwise bill will be very high".

Suffering of small kids, specially in the summers of Pakistan. Because the new owners don't want their running costs to be high as it will eat their profits. I mean what can this state actually do for its citizens ? Like we know of all the things it can't do. It can't protect your life, your asset, your dignity, your job, your security, your health and all. But what it actually CAN do. ? If it would just tell us this.

They could have installed solar panels and just ran the lights and fans from that.

But this would have resolved the issues at that school. And if government start resolving all these issues then why will you need them or who will we curse then ? It's not in their interest.

Are you aware of Maslows theory of hierarchy ? They have stuck us at physiological needs (roti kapra makaan), so that you dont ask for above items.

Perfect 👌

You need to treat illiteracy like a disease. There needs to be urgency.

Send your people to the East Asian countries and find out how they are educating their children.

In the Phillipines they have secured safe areas of cities where kids can have extra classes until 10pm and be able to travel home safely.

Karachi deserves its own administrative unit if not a province or else our greatest human resource asset in Karachi would continue to suffer under the fiefdom of PPP
PTI might just be over hyped by whatever good khattak did initially
@RealNapster
I can take all the war and instability into account but even then
I believe that the Sind government is against it.

Yep, PTI especially. All that talk of Naya Pakistan and after 10 years the kids in your province are even more illiterate?!
Pretty sure the number does not take into account the merger of FATA, i.e., 2013 numbers are excluding FATA districts and 2024 numbers include them post merger.

Build universities, vocational schools.
Promote a culture of education. Copy Chinese or Japanese models
But its people who need to decide this, in AJK we have schools even on the mountains, its because locals demand it, work together to open schools. Our MNAs also know people demand schools. I dont understand what is the issue with 10,000s ghost schools, why the locals dont demand schools, sounds like bollywood movies where Tahkur controls everything.

We have been hearing for decades on ghost schools, every time it makes big headlines the governments say we took action, sacked teachers, will build more schools but guess what after another decade its still the same. Who is to blame, federal government, provisional government, CMs, local education bodies, the people themselves. We need to understand even if no schools exists children still can be educated in homes, for example 20 local children, the education may not be of high quality but if the desire is there it can happen but still it doesn't happen. Is it lack of interest, teachers, people are too poor. I don't get it.
