Egyptian Armed Forces

Is uncle Muhammad Morsi was not like uncle al-Julani, and you and the whole world were with him. How come uncle #Sisi puffed him and puffed all of you with him, and no one was able to open his trumpet, and you all went to visit him in Egypt and say sorry to him, the President, came here to Turkey and went to Doha, and the world is twisted every day after the whole world and his uncle have blown. Morsi died in prison, and all the #Brotherhood are still in prison, and no one is able to blow his horn. He is correct, Uncle Sisi. God is the one who protects him and stands with him, and that is why you were all afraid of him..

Tanker aircraft and Egypt's requirements Successive news shows that Egypt has tanker aircraft requirements that are due to two things: The Brazilian offer to provide 6 C-390 tanker aircraft and the American desire for Egypt to convert 6 C-130J aircraft into tanker aircraft from a deal of 12 aircraft that Egypt contracted for in 2022 to block Brazil, which is what the Americans announced at the El Alamein Air Show in September 2024.

Embraer offered the Egyptian Air Force transport tanker KC-390 "Millenium"
TsAMTO, June 21. The Brazilian company Embraer handed over to the Egyptian Air Force a proposal to supply multi-purpose transport-targer KC-390 "Millenium" under an agreement providing for the transfer (including offset) of some technologies.
According to Defensa.com, if successful, the agreement with Embraer may upset the agreement on the purchase of 12 military transport aircraft C-130J-30 "Super Hercules" by the American Lockheed Martin (the transaction was approved by the US State Department in January).

Embraer presented Cairo with its proposal after the signing by Brazil and Egypt of an agreement on cooperation and transfer of military technology.

As noted, KC-390, in addition to the competitive value, has a higher carrying capacity of 26 tons compared to 20 tons for C-130J-30. The Brazilian aircraft is able to fly in the air and transport 34 tons of fuel, as well as take off and land on short unprepared runways.

The Brazilian defence industry delegation toured the KC-390 in May to several Arab countries, including Egypt and Morocco, during which the possibility of signing military agreements was discussed.

At the moment, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and Egypt have already purchased or are planning to renew the obsolete fleet of military transport aircraft by buying new C-130J Super Hercules. The Brazilian company Embraer is negotiating with all these countries in parallel.

Egypt needs all the 12 Hercules for military transport and might convert some to sea patrol.. but it still needs tankers and that's where Embraer might win a contract..

The deal for 12 C-130J aircraft, we reject it, and America is selling them at double their real value, to block Brazil’s path to selling the C-390 aircraft, and it was not in Egypt’s interest because it would be better to accept the Brazilian offer to manufacture in Egypt, but the deal is political and in the interests of Lockheed Martin and its production lines.

Hebrew media warns of the Egyptian army’s global superiority over its Israeli counterpart
....
An Israeli report warned that the Egyptian army is militarily superior to its Israeli counterpart globally, indicating that Egypt has the strongest army in the Arab world.
The Israeli news website Nziv said that the Egyptian army ranked 15th out of 145 countries in the world, according to the classification of military power for the year 2024 prepared by the World Firepower website, and that with this classification it became superior to its Israeli counterpart, who ranked 17th in the world.

It is not the size that is important, it is what you do with it that is important, ie how you use it and by every measure Israel uses its equipment better, and is alway better prepared for war. Has Egypt gotten any better with its actual war making/fighting leadership skills of its people and its decision making lifecycles ? It is leadership and critical decision making that win wars.

I will give you examples of weapons that entered in quantities that were not announced. Egypt obtained 40 CH-5 drones, in addition to large numbers of WING LOONG II copies. The same thing applies to the WJ-700 drone. One source suggests that Egypt possesses at least 10 drones. In addition to the large production of Egyptian drones.
