Egypt produces anti-drone systems “Haris”..

Major General Mukhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, announced the start of mass production of “Haris” systems to detect and confront drones.

These systems have been tested and approved by the Egyptian Armed Forces, and have proven highly efficient in confronting the threats posed by drones.

The Haris family consists of 5 integrated systems, each of which has advanced capabilities that make it capable of dealing with various types of drones. These systems were developed in cooperation between specialized research centers in the Egyptian Army and the Arab Organization for Industrialization.

During the past period, Egypt witnessed a qualitative boom in the local defense and military industries, within the framework of the state’s plan to localize the industry in all its forms.

The Egyptian Navy and the American Swiftships Company enjoy an extended partnership that began in the 1980s, with Egypt delivering 8 patrol launches at that time, leading to the recent establishment of the integrated partnership program, which included developing the Egyptian shipyards affiliated with the Marine Industries and Services Authority of the Egyptian Army, with the transfer of manufacturing technology locally. And then transfer knowledge and production for the mass production of these ships within Egypt.

Through this partnership, Egypt succeeded in building 26 CPC-28 patrol launches locally, while work is currently underway to build and manufacture 29 other pieces by Egyptian arsenals.

1710358379971.png

The Egyptian Ministry of Military Production, represented by Banha Electronic Industries Company (Military Factory 144), signed a joint cooperation agreement with the Russian joint-stock company Scientific Research Institute “Vektor” to transfer manufacturing technology and joint production of Russian “Zashchita” anti-drone systems, according to a statement. Officially issued by the Russian Rostec group.

The agreement signed between the two parties includes cooperation to increase production, enhance and develop anti-drone systems manufactured by the Russian company “Victor” and promote them in Africa.

Capabilities of Russian anti-drone systems

The Russian systems, which Egypt will manufacture locally, can monitor and identify air targets from a distance of up to 12 km and provide an air surveillance umbrella with 360-degree coverage.

They also provide protection from drones within a radius of 2 km and can deal with them in various weather conditions.

The Russian system combines various devices, including a passive radar station, radio surveillance and monitoring equipment, and a “Serp-VS” jamming and obstruction system, which is used to jam satellite navigation systems and control and data links, and has a range of up to 5 km.

Egypt is the gateway for the Russian company to enter the African market. the Minister of State for Military Production explained, in an official statement, that this signing comes within the framework of the Ministry’s keenness to localize modern manufacturing technologies within its subsidiaries in cooperation with international companies.

For their part, representatives of the “Vector - Russia” company expressed their happiness in cooperating with Egypt, represented by Benha Electronic Industries Company, and they also expressed their wishes to achieve a strategic partnership through this joint cooperation that will benefit both sides.

Sergey Skorykh, General Director of the Victor Research Institute, said, “Vector’s cooperation with an Egyptian company is an important step towards entering the promising African market.

”The cooperation agreement was signed by Dr. Engineer Tariq Al-Abbasi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banha Electronic Industries Company (Military Factory 144), and Vyacheslav Filimonovich Lyashuk, Director of Business Development at the joint-stock company Scientific Research Institute “Victor” of Russia.

It should be noted that the “Vector” company was founded in Russia in 1908, and the company’s main product at that time was mobile and fixed radio stations. In the 1920s and 1930s, the company became a large radio engineering organization, and today “Victor” has become a leader in the field of manufacturing advanced electronic systems.

Off-topic:
The current war in Gaza is basically for occupying Gaza and making another sea passage through Gaza from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean. This will serve as an alternative to the existing Suez Canal. But wait, Egypt has no intention to close this canal, so why then Israel is preparing for the closure of this canal? Why will Egypt close this canal?

The next target of Israeli aggression is Egypt. On the eastern side of the Nile River where real Israelis roamed in ancient times, these European imposters will try to annex with Israel.

Dear Egyptians, facilitate Palestinians, they are fighting the Egyptian war of independence within Palestine. Give them shelter, education, and food, and Palestinians will defend you and defeat your enemy who has clear intentions to come to you and occupy your land as well.
The reason Egypt and Jordan refuse to allow Palestinians in is simply because there will be no more Palestinian cause and thus no two state solution.. this is the official reason..and it is a wise one..

If Zionist succeeded, there will be no Jordan and Egypt will be not there as it is now. It's not about Israel or even Jews, cause Jewish identity can't be proven today as the continuation of old Israeli civilization, it's about controlling the world in post USA era, where dollars power will not be there. So whatever Egypt or Jordan are thinking, the outcome will be in the form of total subjugation.
World always knew that west dominated the world because Europe was the best in technology. But as time is passing I am becoming more and more sure that no it was not their technology that won them over others, it was their cunning nature that got them what they have today.

Chief Executive Officer of the German company Rheinmetall:

“We have informed the Egyptian authorities that we would be willing to transfer the Mk3 gun technology and establish local entities in the country as well as involve industry in the production process in order to not make this a model contract on the guns. This contract differs from others in that it is not an ordinary deal to purchase existing weapons, but on the contrary, the Egyptian side is involved in all procedures.”

It is based on the 35 mm Oerlikon Revolver Gun Mk3 HLP,

The system has an effective range of 4,000 meters, and a nominal rate of fire of 1,000 rounds per minute. Rheinmetall Air Defence would also provide ammunition, namely the latest version of the AHEAD (Advanced Hit Efficiency And Destruction); compared to the original one, which contained 153 tungsten cylinders weighing around 3.3 grams each, the PMD 428 contains around 600 cylinders each weighing less than one gram, considerably increasing the density of cylinders in front of the target, density having shown to be the critical parameter to increase kill probability against most air targets.

There was talk Within the train deal with Siemens, that Egypt would get the AIP system for submarines, and Germany agreed to it, whether the submarines Egypt has or new ones. Egypt’s might also be going for the 120-150 km range air-to-air missile IRIS-T the company has been working on since Merkel’s days for the benefit of Egypt.
