If these projects had not been started 4 years ago... they would not be being implemented now!
Egypt invested $2.7 billion to expand the Midor refinery, increase refining capacity by 160,000 barrels per day, and increase fuel production capacity by 60%, which is equivalent to 25-30% of the volume of fuel imports.
The Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum will begin reducing the volume of its contracts for petroleum derivatives from abroad during 2025 in conjunction with the operation of the expansions of the Midor refinery, provided that the Egyptian Petroleum Corporation increases its contracts for crude oil necessary to operate government and private refineries.
The Egyptian Petroleum Projects Operation and Maintenance Company (EPROM), affiliated with the Egyptian Petroleum Sector, intends to begin final operation of the expansions of the “Midor” refinery and increase its fuel production capacity by about 60%, within two months.

An alliance of 9 shareholders intends to establish a project to produce phosphoric acid in the Abu Tartour region in Egypt, with investments of $1.2 billion, with a targeted production capacity of 900 thousand tons of phosphoric acid annually.

The Canadian company Taj Oil succeeded in developing the Badr field in the Western Desert using the latest horizontal drilling technology in order to reach a porous rock layer for the first time inside the Abu Rawash reservoir with oil reserves estimated at 531 million barrels.
The company has successfully completed the PED 1-7 vertical well, producing more than 1.25 barrels of oil per day per metre. Also, the BED4-T100 horizontal well was successfully completed, producing more than one barrel of oil per day per meter.

Petrosnan Petroleum Company succeeded in adding a new petroleum discovery in the Western Desert in the company's concession area in the Western Desert, where preliminary results from the AES-E2 well (1/5X) showed a production rate of 1,000 barrels/day and confirmed reserves of 1.5 million barrels.

Look I don't want to sound negative but I have seen videos of vlogs people in Egypt on street , and it looks exactly like slums of Karachi
All these news about oil discovery and milk and honey flowing

Countries producte 1-2 Million Barrel of oil
The mere 1000 barrel of oil is nothing
Egypt like Pakistan depends on Agriculture
It's existence depend on Nile river and that Dam being constructed in Ethopia
Country A produces 100 barrel of oil in 2023

It is 100% increase but , compared to 1 million barrel of oil produced by Saudi Arabia or Iran , it is nothing
95% of people eat , Dal Mudamas , and Loaf Roti , sold for few dinars etc
