China Glass Holding Company signed a land usufruct contract between the industrial developer (TEDA - Egypt) to establish a glass production factory with investments amounting to $300 million.
The project aims to establish a glass production factory consisting of two production lines, the first with a daily production of 800 tons of float glass.
The second has a daily production of 800 tons of ultra-white galvanized glass, with an expected annual production exceeding 240,000 tons of high-quality glass, and 230,000 tons of photovoltaic glass.
The project aims to provide 800 job opportunities, and its products target the Egyptian market and the markets of North Africa, the Middle East, and Europe, with an export capacity of up to 240 thousand tons annually, and annual export revenues of up to $120 million.

The Ministry of Social Solidarity will add 50,000 new families to the “Solidarity and Dignity” cash support program, and thus 170 new families will have been added within 3 months.
