Egypt is about to complete the construction of the infrastructure for the multi-purpose terminal in Safaga Port at a cost of 3.6 billion pounds, with berth lengths of 1,100 meters and a depth of 17 meters.
The terminal attracted foreign investment flows... as Abu Dhabi Ports signed a concession agreement with investments of $200 million to manage, operate, maintain and re-deliver the superstructure of the multi-purpose terminal at Safaga Port
Under the agreement, the marine station will be developed on an approximate area of 810,000 square metres, and is scheduled to be ready for operation in the second quarter of 2025.
