Data from the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics in Egypt revealed that the unemployment rate in the first quarter of 2024 decreased to 6.7%, down 0.2% from the previous quarter.The data showed that the size of the labor force recorded 31.397 million individuals compared to 31.101 million individuals during the previous quarter, an increase of 1.0%.‎

Eng. Sherif Hammouda, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tarboul Industrial City in Giza Governorate, revealed that Egypt has signed an agreement with Chinese industrial entities to establish a car factory inside Tarboul Industrial City.He stated that the Chinese company is one of the largest companies in terms of production volume, adding that the factory aims to cover the needs of the Egyptian market.‎

The Egyptian Nuclear Power Plant Authority NPPA has announced the completion of the first level of the internal containment pot of the reactor building as the first nuclear unit at the Hyena nuclear plant.

Within the framework of the continuation of the implementation of the Hyena nuclear plant project, the installation of the first level of the inner containment vessel of the first nuclear reactor building in the Hyena nuclear power plant project has been completed by specialists and experts from Atom Stroy Export company of the Russian Rosatom Foundation (the general contractor for the project), with the supervision and cooperation of Before the Nuclear Power Plant Authority engineers and specialists.

Where the first level of the inner containment container of the reactor building consists of 12 slices, each weighing between 60 to 80 tons, and by the grace of God all of them have been completed, and the installation process has taken place in four artistic stages to reach the current level of construction to +7,15 meters for the reactor building of the first nuclear unit.

It should be noted that the last month of March saw the commencement of the installation of the internal containment pot by the installation of three slides of the pot and the installation work was completed on Monday 6/5/2018 with the installation of the twelfth slide.

The inner containment pot of the reactor building is one of the most important engineering elements of the nuclear units created at the Hyena site, which works to ensure the attainment of the desired nuclear security; the final shape of the inner containment pot will be revealed upon completion, which is a cylinder structure of reinforced concrete with a half-dome A sphere, which contains the nuclear reactor and the primary circuit equipment of the nuclear plant, plays a key role in the operational security of the nuclear plant.
