Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir, Minister of Transport and Public Transport.
This is to follow up on the latest developments in the #Jarjoub National Project, which aims to transform the northwest coast region into an economic zone and a new window for foreign trade and modern industries through the establishment of a factory area, a financial and business center, residential neighborhoods, hotels, and tourist resorts.
The meeting also discussed one of the most important projects within the framework of the development plan, which is the green hydrogen production project in cooperation with an alliance led by the Belgian company #Demi, with foreign investments amounting to $26 billion, making it one of the largest projects in the history of Egypt and Africa.
Demi Company is currently working in Egypt, where the Ministry of Transport brought it in and contracted with its giant dredgers #Spartacus to implement the Great Port of Abu Qir by backfilling inside the sea, in addition to implementing the new city of Abu Qir. The company is also seeking to win the project to develop and dredge Lake #Bardawil.
