The #Egyptian_Emirati_Automotive Group, manufacturer of the #Hamco brand of transportation vehicles, launches the largest auto industry project in the Middle East and Egypt on an area of one million square meters to establish an integrated industrial zone for the manufacture of cars and all their parts, and the establishment of 50 feeder factories for the manufacture of car parts and two car assembly factories.
The integrated industrial city for the automotive industry is considered unique in the Arab region and Egypt, with investments exceeding one billion dollars. With the ability to manufacture 20 different models of regular and electric freight and passenger vehicles. The company also aims to create a sustainable industrial environment and use the latest innovations and the latest automated manufacturing methods.
The group is likely to begin manufacturing in its new factory in the second half of 2024, to complete a journey of success that it began in #Egypt over the previous years. The production capacity in the new factory is likely to reach 100,000 cars annually, and exports will be made to all countries of the world, the Arab region and Africa.
A logistical export station will also be established to serve the industrial complex.

Mr. Mahmoud Esmat, Minister of the Public Business Sector, revealed that the Ministry’s “Ferroalloys Company” has begun manufacturing ferrosilicon-magnesium alloy for the first time in the history of Egypt.
The Ministry produced the ferromagnesium alloy in cooperation with Egyptian investors in order to save $40 million annually in the value of its imports from abroad.
The alloy is used in many metal industries, most notably the iron and steel industry, and Mr. Mahmoud Esmat, Minister of the Public Business Sector, pointed out that he had received several requests from Egyptian factories and companies to obtain the new alloy manufactured locally instead of importing it from abroad.

Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir, Minister of Transport and Public Transport.
This is to follow up on the latest developments in the #Jarjoub National Project, which aims to transform the northwest coast region into an economic zone and a new window for foreign trade and modern industries through the establishment of a factory area, a financial and business center, residential neighborhoods, hotels, and tourist resorts.
The meeting also discussed one of the most important projects within the framework of the development plan, which is the green hydrogen production project in cooperation with an alliance led by the Belgian company #Demi, with foreign investments amounting to $26 billion, making it one of the largest projects in the history of Egypt and Africa.
Demi Company is currently working in Egypt, where the Ministry of Transport brought it in and contracted with its giant dredgers #Spartacus to implement the Great Port of Abu Qir by backfilling inside the sea, in addition to implementing the new city of Abu Qir. The company is also seeking to win the project to develop and dredge Lake #Bardawil.
