Elon Musk is on track to become the world's first dollar trillionaire

Guys, please stay focused on the topic.

@Muji.Iqbal , I will take exception with your comment regarding how difficult it is to become a lawyer in the US. If you've been following Jasmine Crockett, you would have to question just how low are the standards for admission to law school and passing the Bar.

Also, and I will need to go back and confirm, the State of Washington was proposing a bill to do away with passing the Bar in order to become an attorney in that State. They claimed it was.....wait for it.....racist.
Well a person needs an undergraduate degree 4 year, then lsat, then 3 year law school, then articling, then bar exam. There are many lawyers who cannot pass the bar exam. Hillary Clinton is an example of someone who failed the bar exam on her first time.

Becoming a lawyer in UK is easier because there is no need for LSAT.

I know many of my Pakistani classmates who went to UK just to skip the LSAT, which is a stupid test.

As SpaceX IPO nears, traders think it’s a near-certainty Musk becomes the first trillionaire

  • Odds show an over 90% chance that Musk will be the world’s first trillionaire before 2027. Traders see roughly similar odds that Musk will be a trillionaire before 2028, placing a 93% chance.
  • On Friday Musk also denied a Bloomberg report that SpaceX valuation was lowered on Friday, reaffirming that the rocket and satellite company will have a blockbuster IPO, comfortably dominating against other historic IPO deals.

"If you look at the list of the richest Americans, whether we're talking about Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos, the reason people become super rich is because they start a company and grow that company. And the reason this company continues to grow and grow is because it produces something of value that people want," said James Petokukis

Lol!

I thought he was already a Trillionaire, never-mind. Elon can transfer 1 Million to my cashapp, he won't notice that 1 million gone and by the time he will he's already make that money again.

Best way to get to 1 million my friend is put 50k into SpaceX IPO, sit back and in 10 years retire.

fair point, was not being obnoxious, apologies
You're good bro, but on a serious note, is it worth putting money in SpaceX ? from what I heard/watch videos, the cost per share will be 135 per share, and it can be higher. Also a lot of people saying that its overvalued, and after sometime the stock will lose a lot of value, is it true?

Yeah, investment is always a risk. I put in application for some shares at $135. I think it may well pop a bit on first day and many will sell and make a profit. I am looking at 10 years down the line when I retire. The combination of AI data centres, Starlink and Starship convince me that long term it may be good. Never bet against Musk. I do not like the guy but simple fact is this. If you put in $10,000 when Tesla IPO's you would have $2.7 Million now. Appreciate it is not the same as SpaceX is IPO'ing late and I think all the early private investors have made the real profit, but already Musk is selling data usage to Anthropic and Google and just look at Starship V3! If we really do go into space a lot of that will be on Spacex infratructure (like NASA and US DoD is already doing)

For me that is better then just putting cash into a FTSE 500 Index tracking fund

Yes investments is always risky, and i have terrible luck with investments, and not because i lost money but i could've make more money but i sell it for much less profit. 1 recent example i can give that i bought around 50 shares with around 3.75$ per share, and as the Trump second terms shows markets plunge I saw that share went close to 2.50$ per share, but i didn't sell it and i just left them there, but then recently it start gaining some value, and when it holds at around 5.50$ per share, i sold all 50 of them making some profit. But last week that same share was selling for 45$ per share lol I could've made a lot more money if sold that share like last week.

Another sad story that start of Trump second term, Nvidia dive down all the way to 90$ per share, I was gonna buy around 10 share with 1000$ that i have saved up, but instead i just bought 1 share, and used the remaining money on something else, guess what today Nvidia sits at 208$, and couple of months ago it was at 235$ per share. Only if I have listen to my gut feeling and bought 10 shares of Nvidia for 900$, today that would sit at 2000$ +.

I hear you man, I sold Nvidia so cheap as it was rising, when it took a small drop I sold around a year ago. It is up 100% since then!

It all depends on your appetite for risk. All my pensions are in safe funds as the pesnion companies to mainly just track the big safe companies (Oil, telecoms, pharma etc).

With half my savings I go into ISAs and Bonds, so safe and much of it tax free. The other half (much to my wife's anger) I use as basically risk/gamble. Admittedly I am comfortable doing this with no mortgage, if I still had a mortgage I woukd just focus on paying that off. Could be I lose a lot of money or make a lot, but wont be sleeping on the street if it all goes bad

Yeah, and I had 2 more instances in last 2 years where I had stocks of a company bought for literally between less than a 1$ to 3$ and they shoots up to 20-40$ per share, and I lost over couple of Grand. Its upsetting when you are at loss, but it even more upsetting when you could've make more but settle for less, but as I forgot most of my Sindhi Lessons but one sticks, " Lalach buri Balaa Aahe ", Greed is a bad monster. But that whole Nvidia sage was particularly saddening as I had funds and I knew Nvidia will jump back eventually, but I chicken out of buying, it would've given me at least 2k$, that would be 2 vacations or 1 credit card debt paid lol.

This is why this thing is left to the professionals, you have to have a great ability to cope with pain and pressure that you and I may not have.

Look at the guys who stuck with Apple through thick and thin before they launched the Iphone. They were making crap computers early on and Jobs was fighting to control the company. People thought IBM, MS and Nokia would crush them. Now look....

20 years ago if you had one Apple share at $3, it would be worth $290 now.

If you had put in just $1,000 you would have $97,000.

If you put in $10,000 back then you would now be a Millonaire.

Obviously at the time there were other companies more exciting then Apple that people where backing. In 2008 Blackberry shares were $132, now they are $8, but BB was all teh rage back then, no one gave Apple a chance.

The way I see it, SpaceX has such a strong moat i cannot see anyone beating them in next 10 years, I could be wrong here, but that is my estimate, so I am going in
