Well I do see one of their points which is rather eyebrow raising. The vast majority of shares (like 93%) can't be sold until after the Nasdaq-100 inclusion.

Yeah, I mean there are so many variables and I expect massive volitility, I am almost 50% up now so even if I sell right now I have made good many of just 5 days, but I see this as a 10 years investment so not bothered about short term benchmarks. Do I believe Elon will achieve everything he claims he will? No way. Forget Mars bases in our life time. Do I think he has built a strong moat around AI data centres in the future and space travel and logistics infrastructure? Yes. That is what I am betting on

If people thought those angel investors were handing SpaceX untold billions for the last 20+ years because they wanted to see some commune on Mars then I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell them.

This is all about making money...with moats.

Untold trillions on an asteroid..well we are going to need big reusable rockets, tunnel boring machines, solar power, battery storage tech, and AI robots to do it.

Large private space stations in orbit assembled by robots...sold to governments and hotel chains..

Maybe even cruising around on some type of shuttle.

They are using this IPO money to get the ball rolling as soon as possible..sort of like Starlink. To build a lead so large it would be tricky to catch up to them.

100%, and if I can profit from it all, despite Musk being an outright Xenophibe and Islamaphobe, then so be it. Saudis give him plenty of funding too, in all honesty fruits of any long term shareholding will not be seen by me, but my children. I will still be driving a mid range car till I pass away!

I think crazy stuff will happen a lot sooner than people think. They can build those Starships in only a few weeks now.

Hmm, with this much hype that stock can only go up and stay up for a long time. I think I will convert my savings for a couple of SpaceX shares tomorrow.

The company itself has revenues of around $18 billion only, which means the price is inflated but today's stocks have little to do with financials.
