i dont know if musk really has that money power or it's just a figurehead of the chosen ones, it's just a guessing.

but everybody know for sure that those tech developments are not the achievement of one single person (musk or any other) but the work of hundreds/thousands people working together, usually anonymous and with zero public relevance, because if something usa state does well is control public narrative.

i think bill gates is a real self made man (a real "musk") so he is constantly attacked in the public usa narrative, to decrease his "out of control" influence, meanwhile musk is constantly praised by same media, because i suspect, it's a fake artificial fabricated idol, under control.

gates has a serious coherent public speech, musk has a childish dumb and full of contradictions public speech, likely because it's written by different people each time.

More likely it because you don't have the visionary organizing them and leading them into building something great. That is the real problem. I wonder how many people from Europe ran over to the US to join SpaceX under Elon Musk. Probably far more than the number of Americans who ran over to Europe to join ESA

everybody can have visions , but few have the money and resources to do it.

"europe" can't never work like a single state.

even in usa, it's not the achievement of the state, but a private company inside a state, more fast and efficient than a slow state, and a lot more than a burocrat entity like european union.

it was possible thanks to tiny group controlling banks with the arbitrariety of their will, from that famous minority, not the eskimos.

anyway, although it's spectacular to see those achievements, we dont know yet exactly how good will be the return of investment.
