Im certainly not defending the behaviour of some of our youth at the time. These Pakistani gangs that were involved in such grotesque heinous crimes of the 90s and early 00s were criminals, drug dealers, alcoholics, pimps, complete degenerate rejects from society most likely many of whom were high school drop outs. These crimes where highlighted in 1998 by Nick Griffin, leader of the BNP and a documentary by channel 4 'Dispatches' was going to be aired highligting these crimes. The programme was halted being aired to avoid racial tensions in several towns across the north of England.
A handful of Pakistani gangs were targetting English school girls by befriending them and showering them with gifts only to sexually abuse them.
Many of the victims came from broken homes were they witnessed domestic violence, drug and alcohol abuse.
It's a massive failure amongst our community. When this was highlighted in the 90s our community should have taken action which would have avoided this never ending reputation we have been given
