I'm seeing everyone is rejoicing on fake photo tampering but unable to see how India has humiliated by attacking enemy mainland..... even if this is true that you shot down Flanker or rafale it's not end such things happen in war but pitty is you guys look shotting down some fighter as a victory..... as a nation always you have liked is shortcuts, handouts and hence today the economic condition of your nation.....

India has certainly lost 1 Rafale, but I have looked through this thread and cant see any major evidence for a 2nd. I can see evidence for Mirage 2K, SU30 and maybe a Mig29 (these last three fall out of the sky often by themselves mind you). If India has lost a second Rafale, then things will get toasty when they finally expose the Def Sec to a decent media forum.

I think the picture of the crashed PL 15 suggests that another Rafale could had been shot down but it probably escaped

That is very true - we dont know the RoE of the IAF vs the PAF and also the loadout of the Rafale's as they were hit and in what circumstances.

However, that being said even if taken down when it was "not in its element" the psychological impact of it is what matters.

If I were to guess...
...surely they will bring at least some jets in air to air configuration to combat/defend the jets in air to ground configuration(that were to launch strikes on Pakistani targets)
...and furthermore I would assume the jets they would want to have configured for air to air combat role would be the ones best suited for that role(especially after 2019)...this I would assume to be Su30MKIs and Rafales. IAF has plenty of other types of jets that can serve much better for A2G roles(and wouldn't perform as well in A2A as compared to Su30MKI and Rafales) like for example Mirage 2000, Jaguar, and even Mig29.

Yes I know these are all assumptions in absence of any data available...
...but these are based on common sense. Please add anything or correct anything that I may be missing.
