PAF worked like a well oiled machine. They demonstrated 'A'->'B'->'C' kill chain which I don't think even NATO countries have ever demonstrated. This was possible because they used SAAB AWACS' ope architecture to use its 2 way Datalink for guiding the PL-15. So they tracked with ground radars, fired the PL-15 from their J-10C and guided it via the AWACS. This is a technological leapfrog and an ability that the IAF lacks.
Even without this, they would've outgunned the IAF in terms of BVR range and EW.

Then how did the Indian Air Force manage to bomb 11 airbases and 5 other military installations across the entire length and breadth of Pakistan?

After 6 of those were shot down by PAF all your jets were forced to stay some 300 kilometers away from your own border.
Whole world saw it and laughed at you while you were busy drinking cow cola.

The strangest thing is that IAF procured PHALCONS which I considered to be superior to our EIREYE and Z-series Chinese AWAECS. But that we were able to decisively beat back the Indians both in 2019 and again in 2025 is testamount to our Air superiority over the Indians any day.

And I am not writing that based on any online post or social media but rather the fact that IAF decided to stay grounded after the first aerial encounter in which their pride and boast the Rafales were shot down, along with an MKI. These are the 2 meaningful Jets in their arsenal as the BISON and the Mig-29 are too old and obsolete, kind of like our Mirage III.

First of all there is no evidence of three Rafales down.
Most likely one in Bhatinda and that's it.

It has got to with the RoE followed by IAF that day.
RoE had been not to target any Pakistani military assets. So IAF was focus on nine terrorist sites and surely they were targeted with pin point accuracy.

That's why no BVRs or S-400 were launched though PAF was loitering very close to the border on May7. IAF wasn't playing with PAF that day.


On May 10 IAF sent SCAlps and Brahmos to every Pakistani airbase in tandem to give sample of things to come. We have more than 1000 Brahmos and SCALP, only 15 were used that day. And I'm talking about things verified through Sat Pictures.

According India media report several PAF assets were destroyed.
