The difference is unlike Modi , Daar wasn't just shooting in the dark .
Remember he just didn't say another Indian aircraft but actually mentioned the type.

IMO, it's a bit moot at this point. The world has moved on and even during the thick of it did not pay more attention than India bombed -> Pakistan shot down aircraft -> Both launched missiles and drones. The residual interest was and is focused on the air battle for which the narrative was set within a few hours with pictorial and video evidence. The Indian focus is also mainly on denying or diminishing this narrative. The more serious interest would be from militaries and governments who will have other more accurate means of determining what happened.

I also don't believe that releasing pictures of the Indian losses from the 10th will achieve anything of substance either. The Indian and Pakistani establishments both know exactly what Pakistan meant to do, and if it did it or not. The general Indian population had it's MO decided before anything happened; deny -> bs -> deny -> produce claims/facts out of their behind -> pretend everything is peachy. Despite their own military's statements, pictorial/video evidence, and common sense, they are unable to accept any loss at all and have instead fabricated laughable claims. The idiotic arguments/counter-arguments that they are presenting, at least in my opinion, show that they are more at the textbook and perpetual Indian first stage of grief, instead of engaged in a systematic countering of the narrative. The Pakistani public has also reached its conclusion and is satisfied with it; India attacked -> We responded -> Ceasefire reached. The only purpose any further evidence will serve is allowing us Pakistanis online to rub it in more. Don't get me wrong, I want it...but I am also ok without it.

It's not exactly Ishaq Daar's claim, Bilawal disclosing that actual numbers of IAF aircraft locked were 20, obviously the delegation was throughly briefed by concerned authorities.
It's highly unlikely that a delegation that's on a mission to expose Indian designs would be talking without substance.

Word is that PAF will reveal details at some point as realistically we are still in a conflict situation.

Oh they know. We see them squirming in every post, desperate for relief, even if through fantasy. Yet they will not admit any of it. They don't have the integrity or the heart to. The Indian general public will lap up whatever nonesense their government throws their way. If their government doesn't then they will create it themselves; loose screws, Sajajudin, F-16 engines, Nuclear leaks, Lahore Port.

For this exact reason the general Indian public is not a viable independent variable in our calculus. The Pakistani message goes to the Indian government and military who can whip their public, like a donkey, in any direction with the most idiotic of statements. The smart ones are drowned out.
