Can you elaborate on the 89 crash? Was it the disorientation case? The list of deceased in Vipers include :
Zafar Ahsan (1989)
Nasir Kamran (1994, his crash was seen clearly on a HUD tape from another F-16)
Saud Ghulam Nabi (2009)
Noman Akram (2020)
All first rate pilots, Zafar Ahsan for example was the course top graduate for No. 7 F-16 OCC. But the profession proved they were all human, and as told by many Viper jocks in PAF almost all of those crashes were preventable.

There are bold old pilots (I know of one at home). The saying is that there are no old bold pilots. As the saying amongst pilots goes that there are bold pilots and there are old pilots but there are no bold old pilots.
Yes it was disorientation. The following link has more info :Can you elaborate on the 89 crash? Was it the disorientation case?
