F-16 of Pakistan Air Force

I believe Trump meant these F-16s when talked about trade and pressed for ceasefire, at least for Pakistan. However this seems now a total hoax , both Kashmir mediation and F-16s, given the strong Indian lobby. I also believe Trump threw this bone at Indian behest to make us stop pummeling Indians, as Indians know how big a sucker we are to even hear the word 'Kashmir'.....
What pummeling ? Are you talking about the jets down? Yes agreed that was pummeling but Paf stopped that anyway after May 7. Or are you talking about missiles attacking Indian bases? If they is the case then any neutral non Indian and non Pakistan source will tell you that both sides did minimal damage and Indians did slightly more with their Brahmos. There is no satellite image of Pakistani missiles pumelli g Indian bases

Pakistan was not going to stop and launch a bigger attack soon. We already had targeted the forward bases, now was time for Agra and Ambala, the home of Rafales. Indians knew this and given the large area and high number of targets there was no hiding from this. That is why Indians accepted the ceasefire.

So the news about F16 is indeed true. Upgradation of some if not all existing platforms will happen. Maybe they may go for new ones. I hope they also go AIM120Ds. J 35s not coming for now. Chinese jets are cheap but maintenance wise they become expensive. PAF love for F16s is unimaginable. Hope this decision becomes fruitful for PAF and cause nightmare for IAF.
We will know when PAF confirms it, otherwise its all authentic rumors.

Your logic does not make sense. Paf did not fly much post May 7 and the only activity was from PA with fateh launches but I did not see any major damage from fateh. Indians figured out how to intercept them and they are not as fast as Brahmos so easier to intercept. It was Paf that was vulnerable to Brahmos. Indians put a crater right where the two runways intersect in sargodha .:while thst is not huge it still shows that they can accurately pinpoint brahmos. They also did damage to nur khan and bholari. So we had more to lose if Brahmos continued. Now if Paf was active post may 7 and started attacking Indian airfields with f16s and jf17s then yes Indians would have seen damage but there would have been the risk of Paf losing aircraft and pilots and the national embarrassment. So I think both India and Pakistan may have felt vulnerable and hence both wanted to stop. It is incorrect to say that only India felt that it could be pummeled if the war continued. Just my 2 c

"Polish Ministry of Defense has signed a $3.8 billion contract to upgrade the country’s 48 F-16C/D Block 52+ Viper fighters to the F-16V configuration"

Poland’s F-16s Are About To Become Much More Potent

If Poland can upgrade its 48 F-16 Block 52+ to Block 70/72 config for $3.8 billion, then after asking AI to do the maths for me, Pakistan would require approx. $1.4 billion to upgrade its fleet of 18 F-16 Block 52+ (excluding the older Blocks). Having a fleet of 18 upgraded F-16V's along with J-10C's would be a killer. Also a deal to upgrade the older Blocks to 52+ standard might be a possibility but only if economy is good.

Of course this is all just a wish list and considering US and Pakistan these days trying to get along, if only Pakistan can convince US to agree to this sweet deal.
