But I believe the Chinese J-10C is a very capable product. It is also a product made in recent times when compared to the outdated F-16.

And better not to rely on USA for anything. USA is a very dishonest country towards other nations.

Why we are getting J10C from China you already knew the reasons , US is not willing to give or sell block 70/72 F16s to Pakistan that's the reasons that we are getting J10C from China

Sure, but the world is moving on. The F-22 and F-35 are incontestably better than the F-16, for example. To a lesser extent, so are the Eurofighters, Rafales and so on - these are all half a generation ahead in every parameter.

For Pakistan, considering their budget, Chinese options seem appealing for their future. The JF-17s seem to have provided an affordable capability for now, and the other J series aircrafts could provide a similar affordable option in future.

Rafale is not half a generation ahead of F16 block 70/72. In fact the latest block 70/72 with many fifth generation tech incorporated from F35 program such as it's fifth generation APG 83 is considered a bonafide 4.5 generation fighter.

USA will give us outdated technology.
I have a lot of respect for the F-16, but USA is not honest towards other nations.

Okay saying the F-16 is outdated was an irresponsible and stupid thing to say.
