Not this, but I used to live near NAS Oceana and they have this flight training with FA-18 like every week, it bugged the heck out of me and I am the kind of person who can sleep inside a flying helicopter......but there is no way I or anyone can handle the engine noise especially when they do afterburner take off.....

A one-time move....if he ever does that in combat and doesn't kill his opponent, he's a dead man. Look at his energy state after that move, barely flying with controlled flight and very low airspeed.
