Federal cabinet gives nod to imposition of emergency in KP; summary sent to president

Democracy if OF COURSE not possible in a country where people's mandate consistently gets stolen & given away to military establishment's favorites every single time! 🙄

They literally gave KP to PTI, told all the parties focus on development and so we can move the country forward

Ethnocentric bullshit is no longer acceptable

And all you clowns did was larp as Afghans, constantly make excuses, spread propaganda against Pakistan that fed into afghan and TTP propaganda

You have done this to yourselves

That was right decision to not allow Soviet Union Afghanistan regime. Just like now its right decision to kill any and every terrorist that threaten Pakistan.
Just like it was a "right" decision for the former DG ISI (Faiz Hameed) to visit Taliban regime in Kabul for a cup of tea following American exit — but suddenly became "wrong" when the fallout of that historic visit hit Pakistan in the shape of renewed cross-border insurgency?

Do you also suffer from SELECTIVE amnesia?

So what? Stick and carrot is a reasonable approach and has been known to work. Where is your actual refutation of the point being made, which is that terrorists have not been allowed to gain a foothold in Punjab or Sindh?

The problem in the lawless frontier is that the provincial government was either (a) unwilling or (b) unable (or BOTH) to neutralise the terror network by ANY means necessary. There is no point even offering terms for peace with such animals in the absence of a big stick that you are willing to deploy if they continue their intransigence.

The provincial government needs to be ABSOLUTELY PREPARED to turn the state upside down to hunt down miscreants and terrorists and if they continue to hesitate or balk at this (whether out of fear or any other reason), then the federation steps into the void.

You actually have no argument to refute what is being proposed here by multiple forum regulars. Instead you are trying your best to sling mud at your political opponents, nothing more. It's pathetic frankly.

"Rouge Elements" = Those who dare to defy / resist / not accept military establishment's "plans" for the country...
Yes, resisting the military's plans to crush terrorism is tantamount to collusion with terrorists.

"Rogue elements" is rather a generous and sanitised descriptor for such people.

The biggest question is what turned the Taliban against Pakistan, up until 2021 they were brothers and now enemies. Was it ISI collaboration with the CIA during Afghan war, arresting Taliban members for the Usa, allowing drone strikes, assassinating Taliban members during the war. So the Taliban is just following their own policy, Afghanistan first policy. Something must of happened which turned us against each other.

So handling cross border terrorism is now a "provincial" responsibility? OK. 🙄

Needs repeating because the delusional cultists keep sticking their fingers in their ears and pretending it never happened!

Yes, the PTI led NWFP turned the constitution into a mockery, with multiple senior officials openly advocating for freedom of movement and freedom of transfer of ideology as far as Swat. Exactly what an enemy state has demanded since 1947 was literally being offered to them on a plate by this clandestine network of traitors.

If the cross border terrorists hide within a province then of course it is!

Are you effing retarded?

Who am I even debating with here ffs?

Yes, resisting the military's plans...
Top PTI ministers like Murad Saeed have already been doing that since at least 2022 when military establishment came up with their plan to "resettle" TTP fighters in KPK from across the border in Afghanistan...

Nope. The real question is why Pakistani military establishment thought it "won" after Americans exited Afghanistan — leaving behind the country in the hands of Afghan Taliban who are totally allied with the anti-Pakistan TTP...

If the cross border terrorists hide...
Cross-border terrorists need first to cross the border illegally before they can hide in Pakistan. Who is actually in charge and thus responsible for border security & movement of people between Pakistan and Afghanistan? Is it PTI? 🙄

Murad Saeed??? The man is discredited. He works for Kabul and probably always did.

In any case, if he had problems about their "movements in and out of civilian settlements", then he should have no concerns about the state wishing to now liquidate them - problem solved.

Says the supporter of a mentally unstable military regime in Pakistan 🇵🇰...

Just because they have jailed zio goldsmith failed project "imranda" does not mean they are mentally unstable.
Its you people who constantly post made up BS stories to satisfy each others fragile butt hurt egos.

Yes I fully understood you point. It is hardly the deep philosophical conjectural treatise that you seem to think it is. My point is that some Talibs will inevitably find a way through even a well guarded border. That they are then able to find refuge and sustenance needed to entrench themselves in the region is the problem.

A hard border (I agree with you here - it should be hardened further) TOGETHER WITH a fortified (both ideologically and literally) homeland is the way to keep terrorists out.
