Federal cabinet gives nod to imposition of emergency in KP; summary sent to president

Having 2/3rd majority is not a green light or a license to go around and try to prove you haven't matured and still can harm the national interest...
The national interest is ultimately decided by the WILL of the people aka public representatives in a democracy. You can either have that or just accept the fact Pakistan is NOT a democracy where the national interest is actually decided by an unelected "institution" called military establishment...

The establishment learnt that it had a gap in terms of indemnity and they addressed it in the 27th amendment.
So it's the military establishment that is actually the real Supreme "institution" of the country — when it can freely make whatever laws or amendments to Pakistan's constitution to serve its own best interests — using the civilian lawmakers in Parliament as mere rubber stamps to give it a "democratic" cover...

There is a difference. In the first case, it was utter anarchy and blood was spilled.
Is it not considered causing anarchy when protesters are time & again blockaded with heavy containers, fired upon with live bullets and even killed during the protest? Aren't such brutal crackdowns committed by the military establishment in total breach of the democratic principles & the country's constitution itself — which actually gives every Pakistani a right to protest?

Double-retired Asim Munir has killed so many Pakistanis who were protesting according to the constitution and international law.

You mean they killed afghans doing the usual

Everyone opposing the military junta rule in Pakistan can thus be killed by labeling them as Afghans or Indians or what you-name-it as the enemy of Pakistan...

Buddy we are NOT a democracy

We need to stop with this bullshit.
Democracy does not work for a nation like Pakistan

Our people are too Jahil
Our politics too corrupt

Democracy just brings chaos

We need to get rid of democracy and implement single party autocratic rule with all stakeholders having a space and saying

We need to push through change and development plans without constant fassad

ahil Imranists, even if its about minerals..... which locals paid for those mountains that they can claim entire subsurface resources? Pakistan is a republic state not tribalistan.

I want to be done with this thread but will say this: The latest spin by the Imran Cultist is that Imran is standing up to America to oppose the mineral extractions in the KP province because he wants to stop the exploitation of the resources in that province by the damn Yanks and to prevent environmental disaster.
Yup, the tried and tested way to gain popularity: Blame America! The Taliban Khan had this narrative since 9/11: "We are killing our own for American Dollars"; then, while his popularity was at rock bottom, he blamed America for his ouster from power (a claim he later retracted from). And now the minerals narrative.

What a 'Sadiq and Amin' leader of the Riyasat e Medina. He is more like a 'Kamin'!

PS. Ponder why Imran and PTI have been spared by the Taliban terrorists for over two decades.

So the centre tells BLA/TTP to follow the constitution.
While those who have come to power by the people's votes and followed the constitution have been coerced by guns.

Buddy, they are Afghans

It's the usual donkey dance, let's burn shit, bomb shit, riot

And then cry like a bitch when the police brings out the danda

These people DO NOT know how to protest, their idea of protest is violent riots

And it doesn't matter who you are, you can't allow violent riots and burning of buildings

So round them up, kick out all the Afghans immediately

Buddy we are NOT a democracy
Then why give everything a "democratic" cover all of the time? What's even the point of spending so much public money on election contests, parliamentary debates, supreme court judgements when the REAL decision making power of the state lies somewhere else?

Yes, military establishment wants everyone to follow the constitution to the letter except themselves. If there is something in the constitution that do not align with their ongoing "experiments" in the country — they simply choose to ignore it.

He should be allowed to meet with his sons/family etc. and maybe the establishment can get guarantees from him/host country that he will not get involved in anti-state narrative while overseas for a certain number of years.

A man who is not man enough to admit his own biological child would be expected to keep his words about mundane topics like politics? If this short video doesn't convince you that Imran lacks any morals or empathy then I don't know what would? BTW, he was not some teenager when he banged Sita White: A grown man. Just listen to how he dodges a simple question about his paternity of Tyrian White: If he was not the father then a simple No would do the job. But he deflects as is clear in this video.

Men make mistakes but real men own their mistakes.
