Bro... negotiation has been on going since 2000s... US WOT was a disaster for entire region and their is no two opinion on that. Its not that US would have changed their plan with some perfect speeches. At that time pretty much entire world stood with US.
If Afghanistan can normalize their ties with Russia after getting 2 million of their citizens slaughtered and entire nation sent back to stone age and if Afghanistan can normalize ties with China despite them targeting pakistan for not speaking for Uygir rights then TTP and its sympathizers should stop using old events to justify their violence.
THE ONLY PEACEFUL SOLUTION IS TTP DISMANTLING THEIR TERROR NETWORK AND ACCEPTING PAKISTAN'S SOVEREIGNTY!
Bowing down to TTP demands is pretty much gifting the entire region to Afghanistan. They will have open borders with Afghanistan and we all know it how badly Afghanistan want to claim our territories.
Btw, they also controlled swat for a while until it got liberated and I dont see any locals demanding to reatore TTP rule. Its only few 1000 terrorists and some overseas Imrandos who support their backward terrorists law they call islamic tribal system.

Sofar PTI has done nothing to address Afghanistan's claim on Pakistan's territory and brushing this off to side in the name of peace will only result in losing your own territory to terrorists and Afghanistan.

Pakistan army is not breaking any Islamic laws to interfere in politics. Infact fauj has always controlled politics throughout Muslim's history. It was British raj that abolished Muslim laws and replaced it with their corrupt governance system.

You also mentioned Pak Fauj high casualties.... i think they have lost about 10,000 which includes Army, FC and police in 25 years of ongoing war. Do you know how many US and its allied partners lost? nearly 180,000 troops in 20 years! And they had spent trillions of dollars!
The biggest challenge is TTP using civilian infrastructure and cave network system to hide in. Some even got creative and started wearing their sister's burkas to slip through security checks. If they are man enough, they should fight in open battlefields instead of hiding behind their sister's burkas.

Btw, this discussion was about PTI peaceful plan and you have only laid out either balkanization plan for Pakistan or blamed Fauj.

The example of countries you provided are powerful enough to defend their territories. When Pakistan was created it was one of the poorest and weakest thus your examples are very poor and illogical.
India has many separatist movements and if they were geographically separated with China or Pakistan inbetween, they all would have met same feat as east pakistan.

not really. Every major operation brought peace for years. The problem started when terrorist sympathisers got the heebie jeebies and pushed for talks, deals and another ''fresh start'' with the TTP & their kin.

And why wouldn’t they?, almost 80% of PTI’s provincial cabinet has been involved in smuggling in one form or another, and many of these networks cannot survive without cooperation across the Afghan border.

The operations always worked.... It was the smugglers, sympathisers and political idiots who kept undoing their gains.
