not really. Every major operation brought peace for years. The problem started when terrorist sympathisers got the heebie jeebies and pushed for talks, deals and another ''fresh start'' with the TTP & their kin.

And why wouldn’t they?, almost 80% of PTI’s provincial cabinet has been involved in smuggling in one form or another, and many of these networks cannot survive without cooperation across the Afghan border.

The operations always worked.... It was the smugglers, sympathisers and political idiots who kept undoing their gains.

PTI was not always a secessionist party; it was a Punjab based party and with a Punjabi leading it. But the more it was losing power, the more it became a centrifugal force, relying on fake Pashtun credentials of Imran Khan. Having said that, Imran Khan's narrative has been pro militant since the early 2000s: That's a quarter century of having a soft heart for the terrorists coming from Afghanistan. There is a reason the terrorists operating in KPK had not targeted PTI rallies and PTI candidates in the elections going as far as the 2013 elections.

And now that Imran has absolutely lost the political game, it is no wonder the TTP terrorists have publicly lent a hand of support to Imran Khan's PTI.

Imran has lost it all--I absolutely see no way he is coming back to power even in the KPK, let alone in Pakistan, short of a catastrophic military defeat or a total economic meltdown of Pakistan. What I still hope, and hope against hope, is that the spirit of a new force which Imran had generated doesn't die down and someone saner from the party of leads the way but I see that as a near impossibility.

We kept treating the Afghans with kid gloves because of islamic and ethnic reasons

And due to ethnic kinship from people inside Pakistan

We would never ever be so tolerant of Hindus or their kin, we would have slaughtered them and made a mountain of Hindu skulls and anyone who supported them

We have tried for DECADES to find a solution to the Afghan problem, negotiations, settlement EVERYTHING HAS BEEN TRIED to try and stop the Afghan bastards from attacking Pakistan
