Federal cabinet gives nod to imposition of emergency in KP; summary sent to president

Anyone reading those posts can clearly see the inferences being made, that the military mistake is theirs and the Khan mistake is his - I.e. DIFFERENT mistakes are being alluded to.
Nope. Their narrative is duplicitous since they call Imran being brought to power establishment's mistake but when the same establishment removes him — they call it Imran's mistake. 🙄
In other words, they hate establishment for bringing Imran to power but love it when the same establishment removed him. It's dishonesty & hypocrisy at its finest...

but when the same establishment removes him — they call it Imran's mistake.
Re-read your own gibberish before posting. Consider the syntax.

How can removal BY THE ESTABLISHMENT be defined as IMRAN'S mistake (or Imran's anything)?

It is DUE TO IMRAN'S MISTAKE(S) that he has been REMOVED. I.e. the establishment has taken a decision, on the basis of Imran's mistake.

Stick to Viking rowing grunts if English is too much.

Paying some attention to what was done to those politicians who rose against the Establishment since Ayub Khan's era, one would see how quickly those politicians were sorted out: Removed from power, jailed, exiled, and even killed. Ayub, Zia and Musharraf: All acted quickly and harshly. In contrast, Imran, despite clearly violating the Const. of Pakistan by rejecting the No Confidence Motion and despite publicly accusing the Establishment for a year on weekly basis, was allowed all the press, the luxury of his house, no assets frozen and not even a real criminal case registered: For a year!

Never before in Pakistan's history such tolerance of a criminal was allowed. Never. Probably the hope was that Imran would listen to his seasoned advisors (Pervez Elahi, Shah Mahmood Qureshi etc) and simply go back to sit in the Assemblies and bide his time. But when you have a dumb and arrogant Narcist like Imran then that political party and its leadership is doomed--and doomed Imran and his cult is now.

hamaray madniyaat

I think Trump needs a mineral deal before the Nov elections. GHQ is paving the way for that. Nobody is talking about terrorism or operations.

The 'magnetic' pull is too much to put stability, patriotism, deen, Pakistan, etc. at stake

So the establishment is ONLY at fault / commits a mistake when it brings people (in this case Imran) to power? But NOT when they are later removed from power by the very same establishment? 🙄
That was my WHOLE point about you guys having a duplicitous, dishonest & hypocritical narrative.

"Sorted out..." with their only "crime" being standing up against military establishment of Pakistan 🇵🇰

"Bide his time" = patiently wait to become another Nawaz Sharif or Zardari (useful idiots for military establishment in times of their need) 🙄

I suppose the argument can be made equally that he had very bad advisors. Perhaps it was a bit of both.

Those older advisors were not fools; they had seen what happened to politicians in the past as they themselves were part of the Pakistani power politics for decades. Imran really didn't listen to his advisors enough; it is a personality disorder. A really self-destructive one type.

And my point is that this process is anything BUT duplicitous/dishonest/hypocritical. In fact, it is entirely consistent behaviour from all parties, based on their repsective objectives.

Imran was mistakenly empowered and then rightly defrocked, on the basis of the military's objectives. In fact, had they actually persevered with Imran and his anti-state behaviourisms after the error of his appointment became manifest reality, then I too would argue that the military is contradicting itself and its very purpose.

Now whether or not any individual act in this process is deemed "undemocratic" (whatever that nebulous concept even means) is a different argument. I was merely responding to and clarifying your misrepresentation of your own point.

Anyway, don't let me distract you too much from your eye rolling fun. Folks are free to make their own minds up based on what they read here.

I am not being insensitive here.
Imagine a son-in-law is abusive and has connections in local authorities, and there are ups and downs in life.

Also, add that the girl is naive and believes this is the world and that all the suppression is meant to be. For a shelter and some amenities (food, power and water supply, etc.), getting thrashed sometimes is alright.

However, you have seen the world and know the world lies beyond the local environment.

What will be your suggestion to that girl?

It is said that even the Saudis once withdrew their complimentary passenger jet for a trip given to Imran. I don't know what Imran did but one rumor is that he insulted the Saudi ruler MBS and was overheard.
And then the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan was heard saying something unpleasant about Imran when Imran was the PM of Pakistan. Imagine: Even the Chinese!
Needless to say, his lies about the 'regime change' done by America was to gain popularity and once popularity achieved, he absolved America of the crime. That's all in his own words available.
The guy is a pathological liar and opportunist. A danger to the state of Pakistan. I am glad he is finally sorted out but I didn't like it took so long.

I don't know what your post is saying about my quoted post. I was pointing toward how Imran ignored the sane voices in his circle. Pervez Elahi's videos from 2022 should be still available about his frustrations with Imran's decisions. And PE is a sharp political mind.
